Another Regional Tag

Here’s another tag that I saw at Regionals.  This one is made with the Pennant punch by punching three scalloped pennant, folding them in half and adhering them together.  I think this was done by another demonstrator and just shown on stage – if you know who created the original, let me know.

Again, I made a 2 1/2 x 4 1/4 tag and stamped the pot from Pennant Parade on the bottom.  Then I made the tree and inserted a glimmer brad at the top.  Since I didn’t want the brad to show on the back, I covered it with another tag.  The brad was a bit bigger than I planned – should have moved the Dear Santa up!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Stitched Felt

Here’s an idea share by Bonnie Thurber (LOVE her!) at the Louisville Regionals.  She created a set of tags using the Stitched Felt Winter Wishes (124108) and the Frostwood Lodge Designer Series paper (124002), the ribbon punch and the Dear Santa stamp set.  I cased her idea using 2 1/2 x 4 1/4 Whisper White tags.

Silver glitter paper!  Love it!  The center circle is the 1 3/8 circle punch –

Now I am 4 tags ahead!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Regional Make and Takes

We went to the Louisville Regionals this weekend – fun, fun, fun!  The make and takes focused on the Holiday Mini set You Are Loved.  The first one was this –

The “Love” was done with markers.  It looks intimidating but it ended up being easy.

The second card is pretty too – except I didn’t follow directions   “Stamp off” means just that – and I didn’t do it!.  I said it to myself as we were stampin and chatting but I didn’t even listen to myself!  So the grid on this card was suppose to be stamped off.  And if I had not told you, you wouldn’t have known!

(Okay, you might have known!)  Check out the cute pin –

Stampin’ Up puts on the best events!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

The Last of Halloween

The last of the Halloween treat holders!  This is the Petal Cone die done up with Out on a Limb –

Wow!  That picture is blurry!  How did that happen?  Here’s a close up –

You can see that I added the “moon” but it didn’t quite fit.  I’m thinking the kids won’t care!  Those are rhinestones on the cat eye – what was I doing when I photograph this?  The DSP is retired (I am swamped in retired DSP!)  And if I don’t use up all the current DSP I have – I’ll be swamped in it too!

Supplies
Stamp set – Out on a Limb
card stock – Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White,
Ink – Basic Black
Etc – retired DSP, rhinestones, Petal Cone die, Pumpkin Pie ribbon (retired)

Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Poisoned Milk

Pick Your Poison Designer Series paper has some great designs for 3-D items.  The images are large and- in this case – are almost all you need to create your project.   I made a double milk carton box (die cut two milk cartons, remove on section that does not have a flap from each die cut, and adhere together) and covered it with the Trick or Treat piece of DSP.

The tag is punch with the Designer Label punch from the DSP –

I added a few rhinestones just for fun and then distressed the edges.

I was able to get 6 of these finished in about an hour – Samantha’s party is Saturday and I’m running out of time!  Glad these were easy!  Enjoy – Hugs, Fran

Poinsettia Candle

I found some nice – but plain – candle holders on sale for a dollar each a few years ago and tucked them away.  (I believe this is called “hoarding!”)  In a effort to “use things up” I pulled them out and found that the candles match the Berry Bouquet Designer Series paper!  So this is what I did with them –

I used Crystal Effects to glue the paper down – and then Mod Podged over it when it was dry.

(The candles look odd because I didn’t unwrap them!)  Then I used the Blossom Party die to make poinsettias –

I think I might have to add some glitter – hhhmmmmm – just a thought!  It’s amazing how much I want to change when I’m posting projects.  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Halloween Wrap

Still working on a few more candy holders for a Halloween party.  This one is the same idea as the one I showed here.  It uses Batty for You on the front and the Holiday Mini It’s a Wrap Holidays to wrap the candies.

Black, white, red and silver – what a great color combo.  But for a Christmas card?  Well, here you go –

The “Joy” is stamped first in Basic Black and the star is embossed in silver over it.

And, to top it off, I made a video – my first one!  I didn’t exactly plan to do this card as my first video but my son was helping me get set up and this is what I was doing – so we went with it.  Let me know what you think!
