Guy Greetings

Guy Greetings 02

One of the Splitcoast Creative Crew challenges this month is to take a frame and repurpose it with stuff from a guy’s garage.  Funny – because my garage contains cars and stamps!  I decided to play along and created this framed piece using stamps from Guy Greetings and the Typeset DSP.  Here are some close ups –

I sponged the squares with Crumb Cake and added some Real Red to just a few places to highlight some of the details.  You can play along too using the key word CCREW0115SF

National Bathtub Day

Amazing Birthday 03

Just in case you’re celebrating National Bathtub Day tomorrow, I thought I’d share a card!  The challenge is to make a card for “another” holiday in December – and I chose this one.  Using the Bokeh technique, I created a bubbly background with Island Indigo, Marina Mist and Pool Party inks.  The sentiment is from Amazing Birthday.  To make the bubbles on the tag, I used my Stampin Mist and Dazzling Details bottles as stamps.  Then, since it was out, I added Dazzling Details to some of the bubbles.

Project Life Ornaments

Project Life Ornament

One of the December Creative Crew challenges on Splitcoast is to use Project Life in any kind of project.  I used the Hello December Accessory Pack, the wooden embellishments to be exact, and created some ornaments or package tie ons.  The first one used the “joy” embellishment.  I painted it white, sprayed it with adhesive and rolled it in Dazzling Diamonds.  When that was dry I attached a fishing line down the middle of the “O” and added a snowflake from the Frosted Sequins with a rhinestone in the center.  Hang it from some Lost Lagoon ribbon with a jingle bell tied to the ribbon with silver ribbon.

I also made one with “Noel.”  Hope you’ll play along with Creative Crew this month.  Use the keyword CCREW1214SF, CreativeCrew, SUO or SUM.  Hugs, Fran

Deck the Paws

Hot Diggity Dog 03

The Creative Crew challenges on Splitcoast this month start with using non-traditional colors on a Christmas card.  I used Melon Mambo, Black and Tempting Turquoise – that’s non-traditional!  These pups from Hot Diggity Dog have just spotted the perfect tree!  The sentiment was done in My Digital Studio2.  Play along using the keyword CCREW1214DF, CreativeCrew, SUO

Wondrous Wreath Box

Wondrous Wreath 02

The fourth challenge this month for the Creative Crew at Splitcoast is packaging.  I chose the Decorative Window Gift Box  with a wreath over the opening.  The “ribbon” is a strip of card stock wrapped all the way around.  I didn’t want the box to collapse so I lined the bottom with Real Red and make a punched doughnut to cover the opening on the inside.

Dimensional Snapshot

Snapshot 02

One of the Splitcoast Creative Crew Challenges this month is to use Dimensionals!  That’s an easy one because I use them on everything 🙂  I used the single stamp, Snapshot, and stamped the camera 3 times.  Then I cut each layer apart and stacked them back together again using Dimensionals between each layer.
