This is a little 4 x 4 enclosure card for a birthday gift. The background is done with the Buffalo Check background stamp set in Pumpkin Pie and the lines are drawn with a Night of Navy Stampin Blend. The cake is also colored with the Blends and Wink of Stella is liberally slathered all over the cake 🙂 I added some little details with a white gel pen to finish off the look. This card is made with the Birthday Cheer bundle. The cupcakes are a die that cut the design on the edge of the yardstick. I used Coastal Cabana to go with the How Sweet It Is DSP from the Occasions catalog and inlaid the frosting and cherries /hearts. I added a few clear sequins to bling it up. Hugs, Fran
Are you thinking “Valentines” yet? The Sure Do Love You set in the Occasions catalog is perfect for making some quick, but pretty, Valentines. I paired the set with the Painted with Love Specialty paper to make this card. The base is Melon Mambo ( 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2 for a top fold card.) The front is Powder Pink and the Painted with Love paper. The little layered squared is Powder Pink and Calypso Coral, die with the Layering Squares framelits. The ribbon is from Saleabration! It’s free with a $50 purchase 🙂 I finished off the card with Metallic Enamel Shapes and Gold Glitter Flakes (from the Occasions catalog.) Hugs, Fran
Have you tried Brushos? There is a really nice selection of Brushos in the Occasions catalog. These are powdered crystals that react to water, can be painted like watercolor or sprinkled on wet paper. They are addicting! I started with the Floral Statements stamp set on water color paper, stamped in Archival Black, and painted the blue rose with the Brushos. Then I started doing the background by shaking on the Brushos in Green and Yellow. The mat behind the stamp is also done the same way. I used Nuvo Drops in Simple White to add some accents. This new set is Builder Birdcage and it comes with lots of pieces to create all sorts of birdcage scenes. For this first card I just made a basic cage with one little bird. The paper is Sweet Sugarplum and the Sweet Sugarplum Designer Series paper. To make the chain that holds the perch fit on the cage, I used a post it note to cover the top of cage (the chain is long) Hugs, Fran

This is my take on the Beautiful Ride card shown on page 15 in the Occasions Catalog. I used Pacific Point and Pool Party. (I believe the sample is Bermuda Bay and Pool Party – but hey!) I stamped the car in Pacific Point on Pool Party yardstick and added some color using a blender pen. The suitcases were colored with Stampin Write Markers, fussy cut and adhered to the top of the card. Hugs, Fran
This is one of my favorite sets in the Occasions Mini catalog – Suite Sayings. It’s all sentiments and greetings and they are really nice AND pretty fonts. For this catalog case, I stamped the sentiment and die cut it using Lots of Labels Framelits. I die cut 2 leaves using the Botanicals Builder Framelits dies and stamped them with the matching Botanical Blooms stamp set. The color in the center of the tag is done with a sponge dauber, Hello Honey and Cajun Craze ink. Hugs, Fran
This is Beautiful Ride ( Occasions catalog page 15) It has this cute car and lots of fun images that go on, in or on top of it! I used Island Indigo and Pool Party card stocks. The car is stamped on the Pool Party and colored by lightly using a Blender pen and Pool Party ink. Hugs, Fran
