Triple Pivot Tree

Tree Pivot 01

Here’s a Christmas card using Karen Burnistion’s  Evergreen Pivot Card die and a very cool idea for making it a Triple Pivot.  I used Stampin Up new Mossy Meadow card stock and the beautiful Shimmery White card stock along with some Red Glimmer paper.  The large tree on the front was cut separately.

Tree Pivot 01 open

When you open it you get an entire forest!  The bottom “snow” area was cut with the Outdoor Edges die.

Supplies

Stamp Set -Stampin Up Christmas Messages

Card stock – Mossy Meadow, Shimmery White, Red Glimmer paper, Real Red

Ink – Real Red

Etc – Karen Burniston’s Evergreen Pivot Card, Spiral Circle Pull Card (for the snowflakes) and Outdoor Edges dies, Distressed Dots embossing folder, rhinestones, washi tape

While it looks so impressive, it really isn’t that hard to make.  You could use this one for someone very special or make a bunch of them!  Hugs, Fran

Double High Lovely

Here’s something fun!  Karen Burniston did a video to make her Katie Label Pivot die twice as big and it’s a great way to show off beautiful DSP and fun stamps.  I used the Eastern Elegance Designer Series paper and the SAB set You’re Lovely to make this 5 x 7 card.

Here it is open and it’s amazingly pretty sturdy!  (Though the photograph is kind of wonky)

I added some Dazzling Detail to the flowers for just a touch of sparkle.

Supplies
Stamp Set – You’re Lovely
Card Stock – Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Eastern Elegance
Ink – Basic Gray
Stampin Write Markers – Crushed Curry, Pear Pizzazz
Etc – Pop It Up Katie Label die, Agatha Edges Framelit, Deco Label Framelit, Regal buttons, Epic Day Washi Tape, Baker’s twine

I hope you’ll try it and share what you make!  Hugs, Fran

Bling Tree

Here’s a totally different take on the Medallion Christmas Tree – bling!  I made this one with the First Edition Designer Series paper and Champagne Glass glitter.  (The cutting and assembly for this tree can be found here.)

I applied the glitter with Tombow Multipurpose glue after the medallions were made – but before they were assembled.

The star on top is an ornament.  I just snipped the loop off the top and hot glued it down.  The base is a hurricane candle holder tied with Whisper White organza ribbon.  Tomorrow I’ll show you another “look!”  Enjoy – Hugs, Fran

Elegant Sounding Joy

Black, white, red and silver – what a great color combo.  But for a Christmas card?  Well, here you go –

The “Joy” is stamped first in Basic Black and the star is embossed in silver over it.

And, to top it off, I made a video – my first one!  I didn’t exactly plan to do this card as my first video but my son was helping me get set up and this is what I was doing – so we went with it.  Let me know what you think!

Supplies
Stamp set – The Sounding Joy
card stock – Whisper White, Basic Black, Neutral Pattern Pack, Real Red
Ink – Basic Black, Versamark, Real Red
Etc – silver embossing powder, Fire Circle rhinestone brad, Black satin ribbon

Hope it works!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran
