Congrats from Cheepers

PIU Cheepers 02

Running late today, but I wanted to share “Cheepers” and her Pop It Ups Rectangular Pull Card.  On the outside I used Karen Burniston’s Farm Greetings Clear Stamps and Cheepers, along with a Stampin Up Star Framelit.

Inside is the double of Cheepers and Itty Bitty Banners on the Pop up part.  Fun – and useful this time of year!  Hugs, Fran

Bloom For You Petal Card

Bloom For You 01

This is sort of an “inverted” case of the little card on page 139 using the Single Stamp, Bloom for You.  The catalog used the envelope punch board – but I used the new Gift Card Enclosure Pack card (page 194. (136662)  This are precut, pre scored gift card enclosure card – 10 per pack.  I put the design on the front and added Sassy Salutations for the sentiment.  The little flag is made with Itty Bitty Banners and glued to a toothpick.  This is really easy to do by using the Silicone Craft Sheets (127853) under the flag.

This is what the inside looks like.  The gift card fits in the slits below the sentiment.  Then you just fold it up!

Grateful for You Pop N Cut

A Fall Pop N Cuts card!  For the front of this card I used pieces from the Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit in the Holiday Mini and some Sweater Weather Designer Series paper.

The inside is a Thanksgiving/friendship scene featuring my favorite Dress Form insert.

The banner was made in MDS 2 and the mirror is Label Love with the matching punch and a little bit of silver foil paper for the inside. Her tablecloth is a Doily.

The turkey is a small oval punch with Build a Blossom legs.  It sits on a circle punch serving platter.  The bowls of cranberries and green beans are also the small oval punch with scallop punches for the cranberries.

The rug is a Sizzix embossing folder designed by Karen Burniston – works great here!

Scaling Graduation

I made this background paper in My Digital Studio – which was fun, but didn’t really work for this card.  It never occurred to me that the scale of the design would look different on from my laptop screen to the printed page, so it’s really large.  But I thought I’d share it anyway because I like the idea.  I took every graduation set I could find in MDS and made my background.  That’s it!  The “2013” is die cut with the Timeless Type Numbers.

On the inside I used Blue Ribbon and popped it on a Sizzix die (Circle & Ribbon 3-D Platform)  I’m not giving up and will try again – adjusting the scale of the background and maybe introducing another color.  What do you think?

Supplies
Stamp Sets – Blue Ribbon, Itty Bitty Banners
cardstock – Real Red, Pacific Point, Whisper White
Ink – Real Red, Pacific Point
Etc – My Digital Studio, Timeless Type die, Circle & Ribbon Platform

Enjoy the weekend – stamp something!  Hugs, Fran

Papillon Potpourri

I am cleaning out computer files this week – and came across another card I want to show you.  The layout was cased from a card on Sudsol – but their gallery is down at the moment and I’ll have to come back to give credit.  The butterflies are stamped on card stock vellum – a beautiful paper to use!  I stamped them on the Whisper White first and then on the vellum and layered them.  And there’s a punch!  Just makes life so much easier!  Paper piercing and Dazzling Details finish off the card.

Supplies
Stamp Sets – Papillon Potpourri, Itty Bitty Banners
card stock – Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Floral District DSP, card stock vellum
Ink – Baja Breeze
Etc – Apothecary Accents  Framelits, Paper Piercing Essential pack, Butterfly punch, Dazzling Details, Itty Bitty Banners Framelits

Birthday Dress

My Birthday to my sister!  Actually, it’s not for a few days, but I saw her this week and was able to give her this card.  I used the Pop N Cuts Dress form die – ’cause I love it – and made her a garden scene.  The banner is held up on strips of card stock that I inserted through slits on shelf.  If you look closely at the watering can you will see water spraying from it.  That’s fishing line coated in glue and covered with Dazzling Diamonds.  The pearls on the dress are Basic pearls colored with a Sharpie – and the collar on the dress is a scallop punch.
