layered on top.

Santa Purse

Need something to hold a little gift?  Here’s the Petite Purse die dressed up just for Santa.  The band on the front is 3/4″ wide and the buckle is 1″ brushed gold square with a 3/4″ black center.  This was another project from my gift bag class – so easy and cute!

Stamp set – Border Banter
card stock – Real Red, Basic Black, Brushed Gold, Whisper White
Ink – Real Red
Etc – Petite Purse die, 1″ and 3/4″ square punches, velcro

Hint – you could replace the “merry” with the names of your guests and create place settings or guest gifts.

Hugs, Fran

Gingerbread Bag

This is one of the gift bags we did in my Gift Bags and Boxes class yesterday.  It’s a Fancy Favor box with a Scentsational Gingerbread Man on the front.  The closure is a decorated clothes pin.

The candy piece is 5-6 punches with the stamped image on top.  Add Dazzling Detail for some sparkle!  The people at my grocery store have to wonder what I’m doing with all these clothes pins!

Supplies
Stamp Sets – Scentsational Season, Sweets for the Sweet
card stock – Regals DSP stack, Whisper White, Old Olive
Ink – Chocolate Chip, Versamark, Riding Hood Red
Etc- Fancy Favor die, Dotted embossing folder, Scallop circle punch, 1 3/4 circle punch, clothes pin, 1″ circle punch, rhinestone, Dazzling Details, Sugar and Spice embossing powder, Holiday Framelits

Tree Tag

Isn’t this a cute tag?  It’s inspired by a card that Nicole Picadura made.  I used the main element (the tree!), turned it into a tag and added some bling – okay, lots of bling – and a little tag.  The little jewelry tag punch say “a very” – that was done by just using a marker on a stamp from More Merry Messages and inking only those words.

I think I’ll make a matching bag now

Supplies
Stamp set – Merry Minis, Greeting of the Season, More Merry Messages
card stock – Raspberry Ripple, Whisper White
Ink -Raspberry Ripple, Gumball Green, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso
Stampin Write Marker – Early Espresso
Etc – Merry Mini punch pack, rhinestones, Raspberry Ripple ribbon, Jewelry punch

There’s a new special starting today – Holiday Treat Bundles!  Cute packaging ideas for the season.  Hugs, Fran

Happy Hour Treats

These cute little bags are cased from Connie Babbert.  I made lots of them for a Christmas party- some will hold peppermint sticks, cinnamon sticks or marshmallows.  This is where I used up the last of my “googly eyes” cello bags.  To make more I cut some other cello bags that were the same width, just longer, to 5 1/4″ tall and then used the pinking hearts border punch to finish the top.

Supplies
Stamp Set – Happy Hour
card stock – Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Be of Good Cheer DSP, Red glitter paper
Ink – Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler
Etc – Snow Flurry die, Gumball Green ribbon, Crystal Effects, 1 3/4 circle punch, circle #2 die

Thanks, Connie, for some great inspiration!  Hugs, Fran

Christmas Bag

This bag design was originally a card design.  Amy Johnson designed the card – and I loved it so much I turned it into a gift bag.  I just had to “grow” it a bit  Doesn’t this make things easier?  Take any card you love and turn it into a matching bag!
Supplies
Stamp set – Ornament Keepsakes
card stock – Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Be of Good Cheer DSP, Gumball Green
Ink – Illuminate pad, Jet Black Stazon, Cherry Cobbler
Etc – Ornament framelit, Northern Flurry embossing folder, Bakers Twine, Gumball Green ribbon
Hugs, Fran

Snowflake Bag

This cello bag has a little topper made with the single stamp Bold Snowflake.  Again, it’s Bashful Blue and doesn’t want to photograph correctly.  The bag is embossed with the Petals a Plenty embossing folder – which is really pretty in real life.

The center of the snowflake uses a stamp from Delightful Decorations and has a 1 1/4 scallop of silver glitter paper behind it.  I used the Two-Way glue pen on the bottom of the flake to make a temporary adhesive to hold the bag close.

Supplies
Stamp sets – Bold Snowflake, Delightful Decorations, Itty Bitty Banners
card stock – Whisper White, Silver glitter, Bashful Blue
Ink – Bashful Blue
Etc – cello bag, Petals a Plenty embossing folder, Banner framelit, 1 1/4 scallop circle punch

Hugs, Fran

Ornament Keepsakes

This card uses all the items from the Ornament Keepsakes Big Bundle that was offered last month.  It always amazes me how much paper piercing adds to a card.
Stamp Set – Ornament Keepsakes, Greeting of the Season
Card stock – Real Red, Very Vanilla, Candlelight DSP, Gumball Green
Ink – Early Espresso, Real Red
Etc – Christmas paper piercing pack, Labels framelits, Large pearl, Very Vanilla seam binding, Ornament Framelits
Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving.  Hugs, Fran
