This card showcases the new set Hearts a Flutter – and the matching Framelits!  I just love it when there’s a matching anything with a set   I cut the new Pool Party Core’dinations card stock to 8 1/2 x 5, folded it in half to create a 4 1/4 x 5″ card.  The banner on the right is able to hang off the edge and still fit into an envelope.

I spent yesterday with my children, celebrating my oldest daughter’s birthday!  She wanted me to bake my 3 layer carrot cake with cream cheese icing.  Yum!  We have always used Katie’s birthday as the “kick off” for the holidays.  But believe it or not, we still have 2 more family birthdays to go before Christmas!  Hugs, Fran

Okay, that’s not too sneaky!  That’s Bootiful Occasions.  But when you open it –

you see something fun!  I LOVE cards that pop and you will love the new Pop N Cuts Dress form dies in the Spring Mini!  I didn’t even unpack my box of “goodies” – I just grabbed these dies and started making a Mrs. Claus scene.  I did add a few popping bases for the presents on the floor and the package and hat on the mantle – but this die is so easy. We are going to have a fun spring

Here’s another idea for a quick gift bag.  This uses a small paper bag (mine is 3 1/2 x 6 3/4) and your Holiday Framelits.  You will need to open the side of the bag out to die cut it or you will get little “vents” in the side.  (Seriously, you will!) 

After you have die cut your image, fold the bag back to normal and run through your Big Shot with the Lacy Brocade embossing folder.  Cover the openings with window sheets and decorate.

Valentine Snowman

Today is my Team Christmas Party – so much fun!  We are swapping
Valentines.  Kind of hard to think Valentines right now – but here we
go.  I stamped the snowman twice on watercolor paper.  One image is die
cut with the Label Framelits and the snowman’s body is cut out and
layered on top.

This is one of the gift bags we did in my Gift Bags and Boxes class yesterday.  It’s a Fancy Favor box with a Scentsational Gingerbread Man on the front.  The closure is a decorated clothes pin. 

The candy piece is 5-6 punches with the stamped image on top.  Add Dazzling Detail for some sparkle!  The people at my grocery store have to wonder what I’m doing with all these clothes pins!

This bag design was originally a card design.  Amy Johnson designed the card – and I loved it so much I turned it into a gift bag.  I just had to “grow” it a bit  Doesn’t this make things easier?  Take any card you love and turn it into a matching bag!

Snowflake Bag

This cello bag has a little topper made with the single stamp Bold Snowflake.  Again, it’s Bashful Blue and doesn’t want to photograph correctly.  The bag is embossed with the Petals a Plenty embossing folder – which is really pretty in real life. 

The center of the snowflake uses a stamp from Delightful Decorations and has a 1 1/4 scallop of silver glitter paper behind it.  I used the Two-Way glue pen on the bottom of the flake to make a temporary adhesive to hold the bag close.
