This card uses the You’ve Got This in Tip Top Taupe (don’t you love saying that?) and Early Espresso. The flower is watercolored in Rose Red. It’s finished off with some of the soft, lace ribbon and lots of banners.

Another beautiful hostess set coming your way – Best Thoughts! LOVE the font! I stamped this in Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush on watercolor paper and then used my aqua painter (and a little bit more ink) to do a fast wash of color. I added lots of splatters, rhinestones and some sequins too. The background in Hardwood. A little piece of paper doily and some new, soft, yummy ribbon and it’s ready to send. New catalog Open House! Today we will be playing with some new product, chatting, eating – and stamping, of course! This is one of the cards we will be making with the new set, I Think You’re Great, new washi tape, new paper – fun! This card is made with the notecards and matching envelopes. I love how nicely these notecards go together.

It’s a busy time of year – New Catalog! My New Catalog Open House is tomorrow and I’m running around like a crazy person! Here’s another gift bag made with the new Gift Bag Punch Board and the Bravo stamp set. This bag is tall (large score line, 12 x 12) and uses the retiring Back to Black DSP with some Glimmer paper. The sentiment is stamped in Melon Mambo. The large banner is made with the Banner Framelits – the small was just snipped. There is a new black and white DSP coming, but I”m going to miss this one! Cuteness case from Carrie Cudney! (Say that three times fast!) These notecard sized cards not only show off the beautiful new In Colors, but also a wonderful new stamp set called You’ve Got This. This is going to be a favorite of mine – simple and pretty. Little bits of In Color ribbon and some Baker’s Twine finish off the cards and don’t forget the matching envelopes made with the new Envelope paper! Sweet! Hugs, Fran
Weekly Deals!
Running late today, but I wanted to share “Cheepers” and her Pop It Ups Rectangular Pull Card. On the outside I used Karen Burniston’s Farm Greetings Clear Stamps and Cheepers, along with a Stampin Up Star Framelit.
Inside is the double of Cheepers and Itty Bitty Banners on the Pop up part. Fun – and useful this time of year! Hugs, Fran
This Hamburger Box die is made using the Irresistible DSP that was available in the SAB catalog – and it’s “cousin” is making it’s debut in the new catalog! I decided to brayer the paper in the new In Color – Delightful Dijon. I actually love this new color! It’s a deep mustard (think More Mustard) and is a nice compliment to the other yellows in the color families. Here I paired it with Bermuda Bay – Amazing Birthday stamp set – and some strips of card stock to look like ribbon. They are glued to the box so that it opens without any fuss. The bow at the top is 4 Bow Builder punches just stacked on top of each other with a Paper Doily underneath, I topped it all off with a pearl. This started out as a case of a project in the New Catalog – with a few turns along the way 🙂 Hugs, Fran
Sneak peek – I Think You’re Great! This card shows off some of the new 2015-2017 In Colors and a new stamp set. Carrie Cudney from SU’s home office made a sample that inspired me, though I changed it to use the new Cherry on Top Designer Series paper. The colors from top to bottom are Crushed Curry, Cucumber Crush, Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Watermelon Wonder. This set is made for the “kissing” technique but my ink pads are way to juicy at the moment! Once I use up some of the ink, I’ll try again. But in the meantime, this will go out as a graduation card.
