Weathering the Storm Work of Art

Work of Art 04

This card uses the Sprinkles of Life cloud (punched out), Work of Art with markers for the rainbow and a sentiment from Six Sided sampler!  The rainbow is simply colored onto the Work of Art stamp using Stampin Write markers.  Then tie a piece of Baker’s Twine and add some of the cute Epoxy stickers colored with Copics or Sharpie markers.  I know I cased the idea for this card – and I usually write myself notes when I do – but I can’t find it!  So if you know where I saw the original idea, let me know!

Ink and Paper

Work of Art 03

And a few rhinestones 🙂  Today I did a card using only the new In Colors and the stamp set, Work of Art and Perfect Pennants.   Love when a card comes together so quickly!  You’re going to love these new In Colors!  Hugs, Fran

Easy Love (& Sympathy)

Love & Sympathy 03

Here’s a quick and easy sympathy card using Love & Sympathy and Work of Art.  From the bottom up it’s Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, So Saffron stamped off, and Soft Sky.  The image and sentiment are done in Jet Black Stazon.  Think of all the color combos you could try!

Supplies
Stamp Set – Love & Sympathy
Cardstock – So Saffron, Whisper White, Basic Black
Ink – Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, So Saffron stamped off, Soft Sky.  Jet Black Stazon
Etc – Subtle Candy Dots

Sometimes you just need things to be easy!  Hugs, Fran

{heart} Work of Art

Another Work of Art (isn’t that fun?) card today – this one with a cut out heart.  I lined this card with Tangerine Tango DSP and cut the heart with my ecutter.  Now, I know you’re asking yourself “why didn’t she just use a framelit?”  All I can say is that very often I miss the obvious!  End of story!

Supplies
Stamp Set – Work of Art (available June 2)
Cardstock – Whisper White, Tangerine Tango DSP
Ink – Gumball Green, Tangerine Tango, Crushed Curry
Etc – Should have been a Heart Framelit! Rhinestone

I have new stuff coming today and will post the new In Colors later on so you can see them.  Hugs, Fran

Sneak Peek Work of Art

Here’s the first card I made with the stamp set we got at the Catalog Premiere – Work of Art.  It is a beautiful set – a cross between Gorgeous Grunge and Happy Watercolor – that you will NEED to have in your collection  I did this card on Shimmery White cardstock because it has more “umph” than Whisper White and I knew I’d be using an aquapainter on the card.  First I sprayed the card with an alcohol/Pool Party reinker mix.  I stamped the image in Crushed Curry, Pool Party, Island Indigo and Wild Wasabi.  Then I used an aquapainter to go around the edges of each color so they would run and bleed into each other.  The sentiment (isn’t it great?) is stamped in Chocolate Chip.

I added a heart and some sequins  – why yes, I AM on a sequin kick right now, thank you!

Supplies
Stamp Set – NEW – Work of Art (available June 2nd)
Cardstock – Shimmery White
Ink – Crushed Curry, Pool Party, Island Indigo and Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip, Silver Glimmer
Etc – sequins, aquapainter

If you’ve never tried Shimmery White cardstock – you need to!  It’s very substantial in weight and has a beautiful sparkle to it.  Hope you’ve enjoyed this Sneak Peek!  Hugs, Fran
