Happy Wednesday! Quick post! Since I had my watercolor paper and aqua painter out I though I’d do another Bokeh style card. This one uses the Million and One stamp set, Tangerine Tango, Pool Party and So Saffron. After adding the White Craft circles I glued some rhinestones to front. Easy and fun! Hugs, Fran

Build a Bouquet Butterfly
This card started as a Bokeh attempt, turned into a big mess, and ended up being beautiful! I started with watercolor paper and dropped with an aqua painter Pear Pizzazz, Wisteria Wonder, Soft Sky and Daffodil Delight. The Pear Pizzazz turned very muddy, but I added the circles with White Craft ink and it looked okay – but needed something. So I spritzed it with Elegant Eggplant ink mixed with alcohol. Then I stamped it using Gorgeous Grunge in Silver Encore ink! Finally I added the butterfly and some Dazzling Details. Needless to say, the texture on this card is amazing 🙂
So the moral for this card is – more is better! Hugs, Fran
Beautiful Paper Double High
There is a piece of Designer Series paper called Painted Blooms (page 18) in the Occasions Mini that is so pretty it’s hard to cut into it! I decided to make Karen Burniston’s Double High Katie Label Pop It Ups card with it so I could show off as much as possible the design.
The sentiment is Petite Pairs and I used the Butterflies Thinlit and the Pop It Ups Paris Edges on the front and inside. Here’s the link to make the Double High card – it’s one of my favorite techniques! Hugs, Fran
Banner Banter Pivot
Every had an idea in your head – and it turns out as something completely different? Well that would be this card! Using the colors from the Stacked with Love DSP, I ended up doing a Karen Burniston Katie Label Pop It Ups Pivot card using Banner Banter as the stamp set.
But I didn’t really use the DSP (just a tiny piece inside) just Back to Black and some Beach House washi tape. Hugs, Fran
Celebrating Birthdays
Balloon Bash
We all need birthday cards! This is one of the cards we will be making tomorrow at my Birthday Stamp a Stack. The stamp set is Balloon Bash and the Designer series paper is Birthday Bash – both from the Occasions Mini. I really like the “HB” image! It’s stamped twice – once on the card and then once fussy cut and popped up. Hugs, Fran
To a Classic
The challenge for Karen Burniston’s design team continues today to use 3 or more Pop It Ups die to create a card. For this card I used the Star accordion die, Star Edge, and Circle Accordion die. The stamp set is Guy Greetings from the Occasions Mini.
To get the “Grandfather” in the center of the card, I masked off the “pa” part of Grandpa and stamped it with “Father.” Since I was using Photopolymer stamps – it was easy. The Star and Circle Accordion dies go together nicely (no fiddling around – the just work together!) This was fun to make! Hugs, Fran
Winter Blessings
Today starts the January Challenges for the Karen Burniston Design Team! This month’s challenge was to create a card using 3 or more Pop It Ups dies. For my first card I used the Spiral Circle Pull Card – with the Paris Edges and an EDC Snowflake die.
On the inside I used some more snowflakes from All Seasons Tree. The sentiment is Stamping Up’s Blessed By God and the the little girl on the front is Winter Fairy by Sylvia Zet colored with Copics. I love challenges like this! Hugs, Fran
Sweet Valentine
I love this Valentine set from the Occasions Mini – Hey Valentine! For this card, I colored the fish with my Blendabilities and used Karen Burniston’s new Rectangular Pull Card for the card. The “wave” edge is her new Beach Edges. The glasses on the yellow fish are filled with Crystal Effects 🙂
As you open the card, there is a mechanism (optional) that pops up so your card becomes even more interactive! Too cute!
The paper is from the Saleabration pack – Best Year Ever. Perfect for water, snow or sky. You need some!! Hugs, Fran
Mother’s Love Accordion
Lot’s of new things here! The stamp set is Mother’s Love and is in the Occasions Mini. It has great sentiments – and some beautiful flowers. The paper is the Something Borrowed Designer Series paper (also in the Occasions Mini – page 42 – check it out! It’s beautiful!) AND the Katie Label die from Karen Burniston is a wonderful die to showcase all these pretty products!
I even added some of the Sahara Sand Lace Trim – just because it all goes together so well. Hugs, Fran
