There are actually 3 of my favorite sets retiring in this card – Established Elegance, Elements of Style and Netting!  Seriously, are they allowed to do this to me?  Oh well – I’m sure I’ll find some new favorites, but I’m really, really going to miss these sets!

I will really miss Aviary!  This was a swap I did (maybe a year ago) for convention (or Leadership!)  The sweet little birds are hanging from a branch made with the Bird Punch. 

It’s hard to see our favorites go – but I know I’ll have new favorites soon!

and Pretty in Pink!  This was one of my favorite cards using this set.  A great big 4 x 9 card to really celebrate a birthday!  The background was done with the Simply Scored tool to make a “waffle” style background.

Whirly Twirly seemed like a good title after all the craziness with the Retiring List being released yesterday!  So I decided to do a simple spinner card using Wishes Your Way from the Spring Mini and the cute little pinwheel Sizzlet. 

I always laugh at myself when I use this technique because it’s fun to just sit here and spin the card back and forth

Here’s a card I made for my parents for Valentines Day.  It could easily be adapted to an anniversary or wedding card.  “Love” is from Lovely Letters alphabets embossed in gold. 

The resin flower and lace are from the Artisan Kit in the Spring Mini.

There’s so much going on in the Stampin Up world!  Let’s start with some My Digital Studio fun.  I saw a card like this in a magazine online and knew I could recreate it using MDS and my ecutter. 

This is how the original card was done – and then I decided to add more color –

I just imported the Timeless Type Numbers punches into my ecutter’s software and pushed a button!  That’s fun!

This is a card that I cased from a swap way back when – and then forgot to show you!  I kept the colors and basic layout and just changed some of the details.  Circle Circus is staying and Happiest Birthday Wishes is a hostess set- but if you want the lace border punch – you had better hop on over to the retiring accessories list and grab it before it’s gone
