and Pretty in Pink!  This was one of my favorite cards using this set.  A great big 4 x 9 card to really celebrate a birthday!  The background was done with the Simply Scored tool to make a “waffle” style background.

Play Ball

This was inspired by my friend who is going to a baseball game this week – and hoping for some decent weather.  She’s taking her brother and I thought a fun card to present the tickets would fit the bill.

I used Great Sport – and cased the front of my soccer card!

I love the lace tape in the spring mini!  It finishes the edges so nicely (and quickly!)

I just drew the lines for the baseball top – not sure that’s exactly what one looks like, but you get the idea!

Supplies
Stamp Sets – Great Sport, That’s the Ticket, A Word for You
Card stock – Real Red, Marina Mist, Polka Dot DSP, Whisper White, Sahara Sand
Ink – Real Red, Marina Mist
Etc – Pop N Cuts Base die and Dress Form insert, Dress Up Framelits, Delicate Lace Tape, Ticket Punch, 1 1/4 circle punch, 2 1/2 circle punch, Dazzling Details, 1/4 circle punch, Striped embossing folder

Hugs, Fran

Tea for Baby

Stamp Sets – Bordering on Romance, A Word for You
card stock – Very Vanilla, Tea for Two Designer Series paper, Crumb Cake
Ink – Jet Black Stazon
Stampin Write Marker – Pretty in Pink
Etc – Adorning Edgelit, Owl punch, Lucky Limeade Baker’s Twine, Subtle buttons

Casing the Catalog 5

I have a feeling that this is going to be one of my “go to” sets –  Make a Cake (page 45, 126340/126342).  My pennants look a bit larger than those in the catalog.  The idea is to punch them out and then trim them down (I’m just guessing here!)

Stamp Set – Make a Cake, A Word for You
card stock – Midnight Muse, Primrose Petal, Whisper White, Subtle Collection Pattern DSP, Patio Party DSP
Ink – Midnight Muse, Primrose Petal, Summer Starfruit, Baja Breeze
Etc – Dazzling Details,  Beautiful Wings embosslit, Baker’s Twine, Scallop Border punch, Petite Pennants punch

Then you can add a tag –

Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Very Sweet

I love this size card – semi huge!  (I also love teeny, tiny!)  This is a 4 x 9 1/4 card (8 x 9 1/4 scored at 4.)  The set is Mouthwatering from the Occasions mini and it’s stacked to the sky!

The background is done with the new Diagonal plate for the Simply Scored tool.

This is an easier “stacker” card than some others I’ve done because each scoop was stamped and cut out before adhering.  There’s no SAMJ involved.  Dazzling Details supplies the cold, frosty look on the edges of the ice cream and Crystal Effects is on the Cherry.

Supplies
Stamp Sets – Mouthwatering, A Word for You
card stock – Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Pretty in Pink
Ink – Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, Versamark
Etc – Oval punch, Scallop Trim Border, Pretty in Pink satin, Simply Scored diagonal plate, Dazzling Diamonds, Crystal Effects

Here’s another take – one I did for my french class because they have no idea what I do – and I’m having a hard time explaining it in french!  I didn’t use the Diagonal Plate background on this one – doesn’t it make a huge difference?

The phone rang in the middle of night and it was the automated line from the high school calling – no school due to weather!  I was so confused.  Last night I was out at 9 pm without a coat!  But sure enough – we have our first snow day of the year in March!  And it’s that big, fat, fluffy snow.  So thankful I can stay inside and stamp – love to look at it but I don’t want to drive in it.  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Overalls on a Line

Here’s a “boy” take on the washing line card I did here.

I used the Owl Punch to make the overalls and ran the Baker’s Twine through a Daffodil Delight pad to color it. I stamped the “wash line” with Bordering on Romance – the stamp that matches the Edgelit die- traced it with Multi Purpose glue and attached the Baker’s Twine.

The clouds are from Send Me Soaring.

The grass is from Gnome Sweet Gnome.

Supplies
Stamp Sets – A Word for You, Gnome Sweet Gnome, Send Me Soaring, Bordering on Romance
card stock – Whisper White, Old Olive, retired DSP
Ink – Daffodil Delight, Basic Black
Etc – Baker’s Twine, mini brads, Owl punch, Edgelit die

Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Baby Clothes

I saw a cute card in Papercrafts magazine and it inspired me to create this card.  The clothes on the line are made with the Owl punch.

Now that I’ve done the little dresses – I can’t wait to re-do it and spice them up!

Supplies
Stamp Set – A Word for You, Bordering on Romance
card stock – Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Twitter-patted DSP
Ink – Jet Black Stazon
Stampin Write Markers – Baja Breeze, Pink Pirouette
Etc – Edgelit Die, Baker’s twine, pearls, SAB buttons, Owl punch (!)

Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran
