Got Halloween Treats?

Do you still need a few Halloween ideas?  How about Got Treats on a Milk Carton?

Die cut the Milk Carton and then run it through the Big Shot with the Dotted embossing folder.  (You want to die cut before embossing.)  The pumpkin is stamped twice  and layered to make him pop.  Mine is held together at the top with a mini library clip.  No doubt these will be torn apart to get at the candy – but I tried!

Supplies
Stamp Set – Got Treats
card stock – Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Whisper White
Stampin Write Markers – Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip
Etc – Dotted embossing folder, Milk Carton die, mini library clip, Old Olive 1/8 ribbon

***My post yesterday about my Sweets for the Sweet Christmas card class has a partially wrong date!  The class is on Thursday, December 1st at 10 or 7!  Sorry for the confusion!

Poinsettia Candle

I found some nice – but plain – candle holders on sale for a dollar each a few years ago and tucked them away.  (I believe this is called “hoarding!”)  In a effort to “use things up” I pulled them out and found that the candles match the Berry Bouquet Designer Series paper!  So this is what I did with them –

I used Crystal Effects to glue the paper down – and then Mod Podged over it when it was dry.

(The candles look odd because I didn’t unwrap them!)  Then I used the Blossom Party die to make poinsettias –

I think I might have to add some glitter – hhhmmmmm – just a thought!  It’s amazing how much I want to change when I’m posting projects.  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

It Is A Beautiful Season

Jumping out of Halloween to share a Christmas card with you!  This is a new set in the big Idea Book and Catalog called Beautiful Season – and it’s beautiful!  For this card I used Cherry Cobbler and Soft Suede(which I’m stuck on right now.)

The little poinsettia on the sentiment is made with the Boho Blossom punch.  I’ve been working on lots of poinsettias and will share how in the next day or so –

The image is watercolored with an aquapainter and ink pads –

Supplies
Stamp sets – Beautiful Season
card stock – Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Suede, Jet Black Stazon
Ink – Cherry Cobbler, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake
Etc – Tasteful Trim Big Shot die, Cherry CObbler quilted ribbon, Large oval punch, pearls, Petals embossing folder

Gotta run – Christmas Stamp a Stack in less than an hour and I still have to get the baskets on the table!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Wicked Case

This little card was inspired by a swap I received at convention from Latisha Dinkel.  I kept the layout and just added some Designer Series paper and changed the colors.

Supplies
Stamp set – Wicked Cool
card stock – Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Pick Your Poison DSP
Ink – Basic Black, Basic Gray
Stampin Write Marker – Pumpkin Pie
Etc – Web embossing folder, 1 and 3/4 circle punches, rhinestones

It’s rainy and cold here today – good thing I’ll be inside bagging projects!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Hybrid Halloween

This is a very fast and fun project!  It took me longer to soak the label off the bottle than to create the project.  The Halloween label was made in My Digital Studio – Pick Your Poison Embellishments (125614) – or you could use the Pick You Poison Quick Accents (124263).  I used the actual Pick Your Poison DSP around the neck – but it’s also available in the digital download.

(I think I need to replace the spice drops with black jelly beans!)  The bottle is a vinegar bottle – I love finding cool bottles!  The medallion is a 3/4 x 11 piece of Basic Black scored at 1/4.  The “all seeing eye” is the small oval and a 5/8″ circle with (another) “googlie” eye in the middle.

So cute – so fast!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Pumpkin Magic

We did some decorating for Halloween over the weekend and I discovered an old porcelain pumpkin filled with some very sorry looking artificial flowers.  The pumpkin was cute- the flowers were not.  So I got out some (a lot!) Basic Black card stock and old Halloween DSP and refilled the pumpkin with spooky black flowers!

The flowers are all on bamboo skewers that are painted black

Supplies
Big Shot Dies – Daisy #2, Leaves #2, Blossom Party, Island Floral
Punches – Fancy Flower, 1, 1/2 and 3/4 inch circles
card stock – Basic Black, assorted Halloween DSP
Etc – bamboo skewers, black paint, glue gun

So my little pumpkin has a new look!  Do you like it?  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Halloween Wrap

Still working on a few more candy holders for a Halloween party.  This one is the same idea as the one I showed here.  It uses Batty for You on the front and the Holiday Mini It’s a Wrap Holidays to wrap the candies.

Supplies
Stamp Sets – Batty for You, It’s a Wrap Holiday
card stock = Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Pick Your Poison DSP
Ink – Basic Black
Stampin Write Markers – Basic Black,Pumpkin Pie
Etc – Top Note die, googlie eyes , 1 3/8 – 1 1/4 and 1″ circle punches, labels

It’s a beautiful day here today.  I hope to get outside to enjoy it – and hope you have a great day too!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Halloween Treat Box

Here’s another idea for using the bat clips (the bat punch is in the clearance rack!) for Halloween treats.  I used Out on a Limb from the Holiday Mini and Pick Your Poison Designer Series paper to decorate some gable boxes and added the clips at the top.

On some I did the spiders and on some I did the bats.  The entire box is spritzed with Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black and the top piece has scalloped Basic Black in a “roof” sort of look.

The flower is made with the Daisy #2 die –

Then I added the clip –

Supplies
Stamp set – Out on a Limb
card stock – Basic Black, Pick Your Poison DSP
Ink – Basic Black
Stampin Write Markers- Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black
Etc – Scallop border punch, Bat punch, clothes pin, Web embossing folder,Bold Bright button, Daisy #2 die, spritzer, gable box

Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Bring on the Cake – and more!

Here’s a birthday scene created for my neice – and I hope she’s already recieved it since I’m going ahead and sharing it!  This crazy card uses so many sets it even makes me blush!  But I’ll try to walk you through it.  The front is created with, mainly, the super fun Big Top Birthday Designer Series paper and Bring on the Cake stamp set.  Since I really don’t own any sets that go with this paper – I paper pieced images from the paper itself.

The little clown and stong man are cut from the DSP and popped up on dimensionals –

The strong man’s “thingie that he holds up” has card stock circles applied over top and covered with Crystal Effects – and there is Crystal Effects on the clown’s buttons.

And then the inside!

It’s hard to photograph because the balloons are on the now retired spiral (cut from acetate) from the Table Setting die.  They “float” up as you open the card.

There’s a pop-up banner, some flowers, clouds – well, just lots of stuff!  The birds holding the Happy Birthday are from Easy Events – the banner from Pines and Poinsettias – the words from Teeny Tiny Wishes!  Pennant Parade is on the pennant, the ballons are from Party This Way- just lots and lots of stuff!

How crazy is this?  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran
