Casing the Catalog 6

Do you just love the sample using Christmas Deer on page 18 of the catalog?  It uses Petite Pairs for the sentiment but mine was out on the classroom table being used for stamp club so I used More Merry Messages instead.

Stamp Sets – Christmas Deer, More Merry Messages
card stock – Real Red, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White
Ink – Versamark, Real Red
Etc – Iridescent Ice embossing powder, Silver embossing powder, Basic pearls, Curly Label and Dotted Scallop Ribbon punches, Apothecary Accents Framelit die, Petals a Plenty embossing folder

Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Christmas Deer

Another new set – Christmas Deer (128144/128146) that is going to see a lot of ink.  I stamped the deer in Soft Suede and then masked off everything but the antlers, stamped again in Versamark and embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder.

And added the snowflake ornament.  It’s better IRL!

Stamp sets – Christmas Deer, More Many Messages
card stock – Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Be of Good Cheer Designer Series paper
Ink – Soft Sued, Cherry Cobbler, Versamark
Etc – Iridescent Ice embossing powder, Large Scallop Edgelit

Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Christmas Cheer

Just playing around with my new Happy Hour stamp set – why start with Christmas?  I have no idea but it was fun!  There are lots of cute embellishments that go with this set.  Gotta get out the Crystal Effects and starting accenting.  (Just the dots on the holly, parasol and olive)

Stamp Set – Happy Hour

Ink – Cherry Cobbler
Stampin Write Markers – Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green
Etc – Dotted Scalloped Ribbon punch, Gumball Green satin ribbon, Basic rhinestones, Crystal Effects, Regals button, Baker’s Twine

Mrs. Claus rounds out this set!  Here’s the Christmas version using the same layout.

Poinsettias

Here’s one more card made to tie on to a package.  The poinsettia is made with the Blossom Party Big Shot die.  I scored the middle of each bloom, snipped on side to the center and slightly overlapped it to give it some lift.  Hand Penned Holidays finishes it off.

Supplies
Stamp Set – Hand Penned Holidays
card stock – Real Red, Whisper White, Garden Green
Ink – Real Red
Etc – Scallop border punch, Blossom Party Big Shot die, So Saffron brad, Real Red satin ribbon

I hope all your Christmas plans are coming together!  Tomorrow is my mother’s birthday and I host the family party.  I cooked like crazy yesterday so that tomorrow won’t be too overwhelming.  (Ended up at the grocery store twice!)  This party officially kicks off our holiday fun!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Something Cased for Christmas

I cased an idea from Mary Fish.  She did a cute card with punched openings across the top.  I changed the stamp set and kept just about everything else.

Supplies
Stamp Set – Holiday Happiness
card stock – Whisper White, Old Olive
Ink – Cherry Cobbler
Etc – Cherry Cobbler quilted ribbon, 1 1/4 square punch, Scallop Trim Border punch, Basic Rhinestones

Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

A Twist on Advent

My friend Lee made these advent calendars using different colors than the expected red and green!  She took the my advent calendar class – and then did her own twist.  She used the Peek a Boo Frames and 25 & Counting – and lots of other thing! Don’t you LOVE them?

And to to it off, she made something like 13 of these – my kind of friend!  Amazing!  Enjoy – Hugs, Fran
