This card is really Melon Mambo. My camera isn’t “seeing” the bright pink – so you’ll have to use your imagination! With Silver foil Vellum and some glimmer paper, this stamp set says it all.

Boo bags! These cute bags are made with the Polka Dot Ta A Bag Gift Bags. I stamped “Boo” with the Larger Than Life Alphabet and made a tag with Freaky Friends. The tag is clipped on with one of the In Color Clothespins. This is the first one I did – then I realized that when filled, the “boo” no longer shows. To fix that, I moved the words up about 1 inch.
And added some bats 🙂

Joyful Christmas is one of the sets on the Christmas carry over list, and the list ends on August 27th! So get it while you can! This is an easy version of the card, stamped in Versamark and embossed in gold. I added gold washi tape to give it some sparkle.

Day 2 of the “Character Challenge!” Here is Poppy – a character die from Karen Burniston – playing with his photo props! He has a bowler hat, glasses, lips and mustache to hide his true identity. The background is stamped with Stampin Up’s Chevron and Dictionary background stamps with some Epic Day washi tape and Candy Dots to set it off. The “Guess Who” was stamped with the new SU Alphabet rotary stamp. And when Poppy’s mask comes off –
There he is – looking dapper. Each item from Karen’s Props 1 dies was attached to a strip of Crumb Cake card stock, stacked, and then attached to Poppy’s wing with a mini brad. Poppy the scholar! I die cut 5 backgrounds to make him nice and strong and adhered this to a clothespin with a magnet on back. Now he’s ready to stick on the refrigerator to collect art work, homework, test – you name it! Today is Challenge day for the Karen Burniston Design Team! This month we were challenged to use the characters – Chilly, Hoppy and Poppy! On this project I used Chilly to decorate a jar for gift giving. There are 6 Chillies around this blue Bell jar and some sweet snowflakes from Karen’s Garden Bench die. I added rhinestones so he could have some bling.
I used Stampin Up’s Oh My Goodies to make the label for the top which matches the Deco Label Collection Framelits – that were designed by Karen! Stamped in Real Red and then again in Basic Black, the center is punch with an oval punch and popped up. I tied the rim with some Real Red cotton ribbon. Then I filled the jar with peppermints!
Next I made a card using Stampin Up’s new In Colors and Flowerpot Designer Series paper. Again I used Oh My Goodies and the Deco Label Collection for the front. The edges of the card are done using two of Karen’s Agatha edges.
And inside is Hoppy on Karen’s Lorna Label PopUp. He’s sitting by his pond with a Stampin’ Up’s Just Sayin die cut with the Chalk Talk dies. Hoppy comes with his own lily pad and flies! I attached the flies to some fishing line and mounted them between the lily pads.
The flower is from Stampin Up’s Flower Patch (that also has a matching Framelit set.) Hoppy is done in Garden Green and Pear Pizzazz. His “pond” is in Lost Lagoon. These gift card holders (136662) are so much fun to use! The little fronts (3 7/8 x 3 7/8) are just the right size for cut embellishments. I used the Distressed Dots embossing folder to make the background and then added embossed stars in White and Cherry Cobbler embossing powder. By tucking a little piece of Cherry Cobbler seam binding behind the front, this gift card holder can hang on a tree.

Silve and Gold! This card has embossed stars in silver and gold over silver dot vellum. The base is Brushed Silver card stock. I stamped the sentiment on the vellum in gold and heat embossed and then added the “Christmas and New Year” on Whisper White in silver. The little star clip and rhinestones finished it off.
