Clearly Winter Wishes

This picture is something of an optical illusion – there really is no bend in the card but the light makes it look that way!  This is the exclusive SU Pop N Cuts base, the Warmth & Wishes stamp set, and Winter Frost Designer Series paper.  I also added some of the foil card stock – and this card really shines!

On the inside I used Karen Burniston’s new Multi- Tier insert cut out of acetate.  The Winter Frost DSP had a beautiful design on the flip side and I didn’t want to cover it.  I cut the acetate with the insert, stamped it using White Stazon and let the design shine through. I also added some rhinestones to the some of the snowflakes.

I stamped the trees in Versamark and embossed them with silver embossing powder.

Here you can see the mechanics of the card.  Love how the trees float!

Stamp Set – Warmth & Wishes
Card stock – Whisper White, Silver Foil, Winter Frost
Ink – Versamark, Coastal Cabana, Soft Suede
Etc – SU Pop N Cuts base with Multi Tiered insert by Karen Burniston, Adorning Accents Edgelits, Silver Ribbon, Acetate, Rhinestone, Silver Embossing Powder, Framelits

Festive Flip

Here’s a new Label Thinlit card using Festive Flurries and Winter Frost Specialty paper to create a card.  I cased this design from one Shelli did on stage – but changed a few things to work with the supplies I had on hand.  The sentiment is Merry Little Christmas embossed in silver.

Something you should know about these Thinlit cards is that they can not handle heavy embellishments in the center of the card.  I originally used a snowflake Frosted Embellishment in the center of the snowflake and it was so heavy the card kept falling over!  Light and east with these

Stamp sets – Merry Little Christmas, Festive Flurry
card stock – Shimmery White, Whisper White, Winter Frost DSP, Silver Glimmer
Ink – Versamark, Coastal Cabana
Etc – Thinlits Label die, silver embossing powder, Northern Flurry embossing folder, rhinestones. Adorning Accents Edgelit, Silver ribbon

Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Soho Babe

Some old and some new – a Soho Babe!  The front of this card uses the new In Color – Crisp Cantaloupe and the Soho Subway Designer Series paper along with the lace from the Artisan Kit, natural button and ribbon and a Cute Clip.

I stamped the sentiment directly onto a piece of the Designer Series paper and added a Scallop border.  Then I used Clockworks to add some dimension to the bottom of the card.

And here she is – ready to hit the town in her retro style dress.

My youngest likes these dresses that have the lace at the bottom.  (I always tell her that her slip is showing – “Oh Mom!”)

I added a little banner with the smallest ticket punch and a bit more of the Clockworks stamp.

The collar and ruffle are some tulle, folded and gathered and attached to the back of the form.  Her purse is a 5/8″ punch with some gold thread to make the handle.

The top of the card is the Word Window punch – lined up and cut with the Edgelit.  Just attach them to a skinny strip of cardstock and then die cut.

I attached another little note that I made in My Digital Studio.  The arrow shows on both sides of the card.  Behind her is a crumpled Paper Doily – just add some more texture.

Don’t forget her necklace!

Christmas Deer

Another new set – Christmas Deer (128144/128146) that is going to see a lot of ink.  I stamped the deer in Soft Suede and then masked off everything but the antlers, stamped again in Versamark and embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder.

And added the snowflake ornament.  It’s better IRL!

Stippled Blossoms

I’ve been waiting for another two-step rose stamp for a while now – and am in love with this one!  Stippled Blossoms (page 78, 126745/126747)  I took the color combo from a sample on Splitcoast by stampcrave- but didn’t have all the supplies to actually case her card.  Then one thing led to another and here I am with this card   Can you see the Dazzling Details?  I’m sort of obsessed with the stuff at the moment!

Ink – Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Gumball Green, Jet Black Stazon

Overalls on a Line

Here’s a “boy” take on the washing line card I did here.

I used the Owl Punch to make the overalls and ran the Baker’s Twine through a Daffodil Delight pad to color it. I stamped the “wash line” with Bordering on Romance – the stamp that matches the Edgelit die- traced it with Multi Purpose glue and attached the Baker’s Twine.

The clouds are from Send Me Soaring.

The grass is from Gnome Sweet Gnome.

Stamp Sets – A Word for You, Gnome Sweet Gnome, Send Me Soaring, Bordering on Romance
card stock – Whisper White, Old Olive, retired DSP
Ink – Daffodil Delight, Basic Black
