Today is the Karen Burniston Design Team Challenge to make a card using a snowman.
I started with a 6 x 6 base and the Twisted Snowman die. The Circle is cut with the Crosshatch die and the snowflake border is from the Long Nature Edges 2 die.
This card has a 3/4″ spine and the Long flap closure does also.
Inside there is a 3 layer snowman and a repeat of the front design with space for a personal message. The snowman is on a Crosshatch circle and it slides in and out of the card.
He’s decorated with the snowman add-on die.

I started with the Sassy and Crafty Have a Cow stamp and the Karen Burniston Barn Pop Stand.
I colored the cute cow with Copic markers and added him to the front created with Natures Edges and Farm Edges dies. I stacked the “howdy” 3 high and added it to the front.
I used the other cow image for the inside and paired him with the Barn Pop Stand.
The barn doors can open and closed but I chose to close them. There’s so much detail on the barn!
I love this image! The sentiment is from the stamp set.
My next card uses the Sassy and Crafty Build a Snowman stamp with the Snowman Twist Circle die from Karen Burniston.
I stenciled the background with the Sassy and Crafty Flowing Swirl Stencil and added the darling images from the Build a Snowman stamp set. They are holding flowers from the Backyard Charms dies. Spring is on it’s way!
The images were colored with Copic markers.
Inside I used the Snowman Twist Circle die to make the pop up. The snowman is embellished with pieces from the Build a Snowman stamp set. The background is also stenciled with the Flowing Swirl stencil.

This week the Karen Burniston Design Team is teaming up with Brutus Monroe! Â For this card I used the cute stamp set called Balloon Animals and the wonderful KB die – Katherine Label!
I stamped and colored the Dog and several hot air balloons for the front. Â The puppy’s head has been popped up on foam. Â The circles and trim are from the Snowman Twist die from Karen Burniston.
The inside shows the Puppy flying across the sky 🙂  I finished the card off with more hot air balloons and a greeting from the KB Word Set 1.  Stay with us this week because there will be a give away on Thursday! So fun!  Hugs, Fran
Here’s a fun 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 Christmas card using the new set in the Holiday mini called Smitten Mitten. Â The set has a matching die that makes cute mittens with all sorts of patterns and accessories. Â I used the knit trim across the top and a snowflake to decorate. Â The sentiment is from Snowflake Sentiments and die cut using Karen Burniston’s Katherine Label die in white and Pool Party. The patterned paper is Stamping Ups Quilted Christmas Cardstock pack.
And inside is Karen Burniston’s Snowman Twist Circle die and her Winter Animals dies. Â I used the penguins to make a scene with the Nature’s Edges die – penguins making snowmen with the snowman watching. Â What a fun card!

This week’s challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges is Back to School which always makes me think, red, white and blue and Labor Day. Â This image is a digital stamp from Sassy Cheryl. Â The stars in the background are made using Stamping Up’s Oh My Stars embossing folder. The image was colored with Copic markers.
On the inside I used Karen Burniston’s Snowman Twist Circle die (again, yes I know!) and her wonderful Words 2, Birthday Die Set. Â The little stars are attached to fishing line so it shakes when opened. Â I also used Karen Burniston’s Nature Edges dies for the bottom of the area where you write your greeting. Today’s challenge at Crazy 4 Challenge is a sketch challenge! Â I used Stamping Up’s Tranquil Tulips on the front. Â This card is a 5 1/2 x 5 1/4. Â And here is the sketch –
