This is a case of the Painter’s Palette card on page 119 on the new catalog. I used Sweet Sugarplum and Peekaboo Peach inks with Playful Palette Designer Series paper. Gift of Love is a new hostess set – a 2-step stamp and it’s so pretty! I used the Watercolor Wash background stamp along with Gorgeous Grunge. The sentiment is stamped on vellum and the flower is stamped in Pear Pizzazz and Flirty Flamingo. Those new Adhesive strips made it so easy to pop up the flower 🙂 Hugs, Fran
Shake it up, baby! This shaker card features a sneak peek of a new set – Layering Love. There is also a great new product coming soon – Foam Adhesive Strips. These are 1/8″ deep strips of foam that are 9″ long. They make making shaker cards easy!
The colors are Smoky Slate and Basic Gray for the card and the hearts are Sweet Sugarplum and Rich Razzleberry. Check out the pretty ribbon! It’s the new 3/8″ Ruched Ribbon in Sweet Sugarplum. I can’t stop shaking it! Hugs, Fran
This set was one I really wanted – Pineapple! It’s large. The image is 5 1/4″ tall so it’s considered a background stamp. I did the coloring with sponges. I sponged Crushed Curry on the fruit and edged it with Delightful Dijon. On the leaves, I sponged Old Olive and then edged it in Garden Green. *I will reverse that on the next one!!
The sentiment is from Pop of Paradise. And the background paper is from the In Color paper pack. Hugs, Fran
You might have seen this card – everywhere! It uses the new set Marque Messages! This design was shown OnStage and is so cute and easy. I did mine on a notecard.
The best thing about this design is that all 3 cards are made from just 3 pieces of scrap card stock. You simply stamp the design 3 times, cut the different pieces out and reassemble in 3 different color combos. It’s like a puzzle.

Something new! Pop of Paradise stamp set and the Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series paper. Stampin Up show this basic design on a gift bag. I turned it into a card with very little fuss. The leaves are embossed in gold – which is hard to photograph! This cute, flamingo set will be in the new catalog starting June 1 🙂 Hugs, Fran
It’s the camera again! This time I drew search light beams and colored them with Copics. Again, I stamped the camera 3 times and fussy cut the different pieces and coated them with Crystal Effects.
The dimension is so much fun!

Pun Intended Day 2! Yesterday I showed you all the cute images in the set and today I’m showing you my favorite (current favorite) – the camera. I paired it with the current Everyday Chic Designer Series paper.
I stamped the camera 3 times and cut out different layers to add dimension to the card. The lens, flash bulb and view finder are all coated with Crystal Effects.
I did some shading around the lens with a Smoky Slate marker and repeated the front design on the inside. Keep in mind that you can only get this new hostess set by hosting a party 🙂 Hugs, Fran
I’ve been playing around with a new hostess set in the new catalog called Pun Intended. These are the images in the set – a light bulb, bumble and camera – and lots of fun sentiments! These are little enclosure cards – tiny, 1/2 notecards. They are a nice way to start playing! Just stamp! Notice some new In Colors? Lots of fun for the next few days! Here’s my Holiday catalog case of Embellished Ornaments. I used Mossy Meadow and Red Foil to make the ornaments – and the new Precision Base Plate. Wow! It’s amazing! Just a forward and back pass through my Big Shot and all those tiny pieces in the ornament die cut clean. The bottom piece on the card is the new Holidays Fancy Foil Vellum. Hint – it’s thin. Be careful to only have one sheet in your hand when you cut it!
Crafting today will be at a minimum so I can clean out the garage for our upcoming Rubber Stamp Garage Sale! Once a year my garage gets a good cleaning 🙂 Hugs, Fran
