The Creative Crew challenges on Splitcoast this month start with using non-traditional colors on a Christmas card. I used Melon Mambo, Black and Tempting Turquoise – that’s non-traditional! These pups from Hot Diggity Dog have just spotted the perfect tree! The sentiment was done in My Digital Studio2. Play along using the keyword CCREW1214DF, CreativeCrew, SUO

Tree Punch Tag
This little tag is based on a card I saw on Pinterest. I used the Tree Punch on a piece of Under the Tree DSP. Create a 2 x 4 1/2 tag and punch it with one of the tag topper punches. On the tag piece underneath, I wrapped pieces of white satin ribbon and added pearls colored with Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities. Top with a star and tie a piece of Cherry Cobbler seam binding and you’re good to go.
Don’t forget that the Holiday Extravaganza Doorbusters start today! Check out the list here – Online_Extravaganza_Products_US Hugs, Fran
Boxes and Bows
Today is my Bags and Boxes class and here’s one of the projects we’re making. This box is made with the Box Punch Board using the Under the Tree Designer Series paper. The “bow” is a rosette made with the Rosette die and the snowflake on top was die cut from a coaster using a retired snowflake die.
It’s almost time to think about packing! Hugs, Fran
White as Snow
The Designer Challenge for Karen Burniston continues with “white” – white as snow. I chose to use the Evergreen Pivot die and do a Triple Pivot Card Technique. The front of this card uses several different embossing folders, Karen’s Agatha Edges die and Stampin UP’s snowflakes found in the Frosted Sequins.
It’s so hard to see white on white in a photo!
The sentiment is from Beauty of the Season.
Supplies
Stamp Set – Beauty of the Season
Cardstock – Whisper White
Ink – Versamark
Etc – Karen Burniston Evergreen Pivot, Agatha Edges, Outdoor Edges dies, embossing folders Distressed Dots and Stylish Stripes, Frosted Sequins, Oval Framelits, All is Calm washi tape

Santa’s On His Way
It’s that time of year – for Karen Burniston’s Design Challenge! This month it’s “Red, White and Blue.” My red card features the Big Man, himself. I started with the fun set Get Your Santa On and Nordic Noel Designer Series paper.
And here he is – greeting you on Karen Burniston’s Lorna Label Pop Up! I love this Pop It Ups die because there is so much room to decorate! Santa is stamped on the die and then again on a separate piece of Whisper White and fussy cut. The cute presents are from Karen’s Evergreen Pivot die.
Supplies
Stamp Set – Get Your Santa On
Card stock – Whisper White, Real Red, Nordic Noel DSP
Ink – Jet Black Stazon, Real Red
Etc – Karen Burniston’s Lorna Label and Evergreen Pivot Card dies, washi tape

Wondrous Wreath Box
The fourth challenge this month for the Creative Crew at Splitcoast is packaging. I chose the Decorative Window Gift Box with a wreath over the opening. The “ribbon” is a strip of card stock wrapped all the way around. I didn’t want the box to collapse so I lined the bottom with Real Red and make a punched doughnut to cover the opening on the inside.
Supplies
Stamp Sets – Wondrous Wreath, Merry Stars
Card stock – Real Red, Whisper White
Ink – Old Olive, Garden Green, Real Red
Etc – Decorative Windows Gift Box, Wondrous Wreath Framelits, 2 1/2 and 1 3/4 circle punches
Can’t wait to fill this box! Hugs, Fran

Tiny Trees
One of the Creative Crew challenges on Splitcoast this month is Holiday Focus – and I chose Christmas decorating. This little tree is made by tearing Typeset Designer Series paper into squares – starting at 2 1/2″ and working in 3’s down to 1 1/4″ – and poking them onto a bamboo skewer with chipboard square between each piece. After they were all on the skewer, I sprayed the tree with spray adhesive and covered it with glitter. Put a styrofoam ball in the bottom of a small container and stick the skewer into the ball. I used shred to cover the top of the bucket. Punch 2 little stars out of Glimmer paper and hot glue them to the top of skewer. You can make an entire forest of these little gems to decorate your home! Play along by using the key word CCREW1114HF CreativeCrew SUO!
There was a light sprinkling of snow yesterday so I guess the holidays really are just right around the corner! Hugs, Fran
