The Size of the Flower

Here are two cards – same layout – different size middle flower.  The both “work” but which one do you like the best?  They are done on a notecard size card (3 1/2 x 5) and use Petite Petals (smallest), Flower Shop (medium) and the bottom one uses Mixed Bunch in the middle.

Supplies
Stamp Sets – Petite Petals, Flower Shop, Mixed Bunch
Card stock – note card, Whisper White
Ink – Crisp Cantaloupe, Pool Party, Real Red
Etc – Pansy punch, Blossom punch, Petite Petal Punch, Rhinestone

So what do you think?  Hugs Fran

  1. The bottom one with the larger folcal point is my fav!

  2. Great and beautiful way to use the Mixed Bunch stamps and punch, I sometimes tend to neglect it so, thanks for the nudge, Fran.
Both cards are so beautiful, I love to see this very Spring like cards right now that this season is still so far off.

  3. Both are lovely, but I actually prefer the first one. It feels like the flowers as a whole (as a chain) are the focal on that one, whereas on the second one (also lovely) my eye is drawn immediately to the center flower because it’s larger and bolder. I guess it just depends on the desired effect. I would be happy to receive either!

  4. Both are lovely but I really like the boldness of the second card using the Mixed Bunch. I need to put this set together so I can start using it. You have given me a few ideas. Thanks, Fran.

  5. I like the first one. The pop of color in the middle works just fine, but the second one with the bigger flower is just too big for that small a card. 🙂

  6. Like the both, but I’m partial to the first one with the smaller red flower. The color makes it stand out more and it just seems a little more balanced to me. Nice selection of colors!

  7. How pretty and different – reminds me of a daisy chain!

  8. Love both of them, but I like the top card with the smaller flower.
