The Gift of Butterflies

Happy Valentine Day!  And the final (for now) butterfly design is this one.  Again I used Gorgeous Grunge – and to vary the width of the lines, I masked off sections of the card using Post It notes.  This way I could fit all 7 colors on there.  What did we do before Post it notes?  I love this sentiment from Gifts of Kindness.

Supplies
Stamp Set -Gifts of Kindness, Gorgeous Grunge
Card Stock – Whisper White, Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Delightful Daffodil, Wisteria Wonder, Bermuda Bay, Pear Pizzazz, Melon Mambo
Ink -Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Delightful Daffodil, Wisteria Wonder, Bermuda Bay, Pear Pizzazz, Melon Mambo
Etc – Beautiful Wings Embosslit

It has been so refreshing to work with these colors – especially since all this snow is just white!  Hugs, Fran

  1. WOW!! how beautiful!!! I love the Gorgeous Grunge set, I have to confess that when it first came out, I didn’t give it a second look, I didn’t see any possibilities for all of those images but then, I started seeing amazing cards, like this one and that changed my mind. I bought the set and I simply love it. So, you combined 2 of my favorite SU products into this sweet and whimsical card that reminds me Spring will indeed, come back!!!!!

  2. I love the way you used the Grunge on this card. Really a clever idea. Love the card.

  3. I “Love it” the butterflies look great with Gorgeous Grunge. Thanks for sharing.

  4. This is so pretty….I don’t think that I have used this particular stamp – sure makes a fabulous ‘string’ for the butterflies!
