Scaling Graduation

I made this background paper in My Digital Studio – which was fun, but didn’t really work for this card.  It never occurred to me that the scale of the design would look different on from my laptop screen to the printed page, so it’s really large.  But I thought I’d share it anyway because I like the idea.  I took every graduation set I could find in MDS and made my background.  That’s it!  The “2013” is die cut with the Timeless Type Numbers.

On the inside I used Blue Ribbon and popped it on a Sizzix die (Circle & Ribbon 3-D Platform)  I’m not giving up and will try again – adjusting the scale of the background and maybe introducing another color.  What do you think?

Supplies
Stamp Sets – Blue Ribbon, Itty Bitty Banners
cardstock – Real Red, Pacific Point, Whisper White
Ink – Real Red, Pacific Point
Etc – My Digital Studio, Timeless Type die, Circle & Ribbon Platform

Enjoy the weekend – stamp something!  Hugs, Fran

  2. Fantastic! What a great background using MDS and I love the way that ribbon looks on the Circle Platform die.

  3. I love it! Great idea to make your own DSP with the Graduation Stamps!
