Easter Greetings

This is a card we did yesterday at stamp club.  Inspired by Pinterest, it features the Watercolor Wonder Designer Series paper and the Lattice die.  The front is embossed with the Mosaic embossing folder and I found it easiest to emboss it first and then die cut it with the Oval Framelits.

Supplies
Stamp Set – Delightful Dozen, Petite Petals
Cardstock – Whisper White, Watercolor Wonder DSP
Ink – Crushed Curry, Crisp Cantaloupe
Etc – Lattice die, Mosaic embossing folder, Oval Franelits, large pearl, Petite Petal punch, Bird punch

It was fun playing with the Lattice die again.  I had to dust it off and I’m glad I did!  Hugs, Fran

  1. Fran, very beautiful Easter Card. Would love written instructions if you can. Thank you !

  2. You are so in luck!  I just finished written instructions for a very similar card so I’ll make a few changes and post them here for you.

    Supplies
Stamp Sets – Delightful Dozen, Petite Petals!
    Cardstock – Whisper White card stock – 4 1/4 x 11, 1 x 2 1/4, (2) 51/4 x 4, 4 x 4
    Watercolor Wonder Designer Series paper 5 1/8 x 3 7/8
Ink – Crushed Curry, Crisp Cantaloupe
Lattice die, Oval Framelits, Petite Petals punch, Bird punch, Large pearl, Mosaic
    embossing folder, Big Shot

    1. Fold the 4 1/4 x 11 Whisper White card stock in half to create your card base.

    2. Using one of the 5 1/4 x 4 pieces of Whisper White, emboss it using the Mosaic embossing

folder. Then die cut an Oval frame out of the same piece.

    3. Use the Lattice die and the 4 x 4 piece of Whisper White to die cut a lattice piece. Use the photo as guide to cut out a cross from the lattice. Use Glue

Dots to adhere the lattice to the front of the Oval Frame opening.

    4. Adhere the Watercolor Wonder DSP to the front of the card. Use Dimensionals to adhere

the Lattice piece over the DSP.

    5. Stamp 4 Petite Petals in Crushed Curry and punch them out. Punch out 2 branches with the

Bird punch and use glue dots to adhere to the center of Lattice. Use a Dimensional to

adhere one of the petals over the branches. Add a large pearl to the center.

    6. Stamp your sentiment on the 1 x 2 1/4 Whisper White in Crisp Cantaloupe. Attach to the

      front using Dimensionals.

    7. Stamp a sentiment on the remaining 5 1/4 x 4 Whisper White and adhere the remaining 3

Petite Petals. Adhere to the inside of your card.
