There’s a new Punch Board – Gift Bags! It makes all kinds of cute bags for gift giving. This on uses the new Bohemian Designer Series paper and the stamp set Bravo. The colors in this DSP are Blackberry Bliss, Bermuda Bay, Island Indigo, Delightful Dijon, Rich Razzleberry and Very Vanilla. I opted to use a tie in the middle (tied with Blackberry Bliss ribbon – retiring!) This board is easy to use (yea!) and makes lots of different sizes. Coming VERY SOON! Hugs, Fran
Cuteness case from Carrie Cudney! (Say that three times fast!) These notecard sized cards not only show off the beautiful new In Colors, but also a wonderful new stamp set called You’ve Got This. This is going to be a favorite of mine – simple and pretty. Little bits of In Color ribbon and some Baker’s Twine finish off the cards and don’t forget the matching envelopes made with the new Envelope paper! Sweet! Hugs, Fran

Running late today, but I wanted to share “Cheepers” and her Pop It Ups Rectangular Pull Card. On the outside I used Karen Burniston’s Farm Greetings Clear Stamps and Cheepers, along with a Stampin Up Star Framelit.

Wow – the photo is kind of off kilter! (Oh well – not my favorite card of the bunch) This is a notecard with the new Bohemian Designer Series paper and Sprinkle of Life stamp set. I wanted to use the branch and bird so I cased another of Sara Gardner’s cards. I used different paper and it really changes the feel of the card. Maybe if we all tilt our heads to the left it will work better 🙂 Hugs, Fran

This Hamburger Box die is made using the Irresistible DSP that was available in the SAB catalog – and it’s “cousin” is making it’s debut in the new catalog! I decided to brayer the paper in the new In Color – Delightful Dijon. I actually love this new color! It’s a deep mustard (think More Mustard) and is a nice compliment to the other yellows in the color families. Here I paired it with Bermuda Bay – Amazing Birthday stamp set – and some strips of card stock to look like ribbon. They are glued to the box so that it opens without any fuss. The bow at the top is 4 Bow Builder punches just stacked on top of each other with a Paper Doily underneath, I topped it all off with a pearl. This started out as a case of a project in the New Catalog – with a few turns along the way 🙂 Hugs, Fran
Sneak peek – I Think You’re Great! This card shows off some of the new 2015-2017 In Colors and a new stamp set. Carrie Cudney from SU’s home office made a sample that inspired me, though I changed it to use the new Cherry on Top Designer Series paper. The colors from top to bottom are Crushed Curry, Cucumber Crush, Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Watermelon Wonder. This set is made for the “kissing” technique but my ink pads are way to juicy at the moment! Once I use up some of the ink, I’ll try again. But in the meantime, this will go out as a graduation card.

Day 2 for Karen Burniston May Designer Challenge – Barns, Barns, Barns! Here is Virgil the Pig wishing you a happy birthday. I used the new Clear stamp, Farm Greetings, stamped in Memento ink and colored with Stampin Write Markers. The Designer paper in Flower Pot.
The angle on this picture is sort of wonky but when you open the card, Virgil and his barn pop up! I left the doors of the Barn open so he looks like he’s walking out to greet you! Love that about this barn!

Today is day one for Karen Burniston’s Design Team May Challenge – Barns, Barns, Barns! And I bring you Brownie the Cow getting ready to party 🙂 The stamp is from Life’s Adventure (a Stampin Up hostess set that’s getting ready to retire!) on some very fun Birthday Bash Designer Series paper.
The cake was colored with Copic markers and the party hat is from Karen’s Props 2 die set.
And here’s the herd at the barn- what a celebration! The barn Pop It Ups stand fits perfectly into the fold – holding up the barn (which is holding up the cows!) The word bubble is computer generated and the sentiment is from Sassy Salutations. The balloons (from the Spiral Pull Card die) are on fishing line. You can easily face the cows in any direction by simply flipping the die cuts over.
I added 1 3/4″ to my barn to make it higher by simply gluing an extra piece of yardstick on the bottom of the front and back barn. You can check out all the other cards on Karen’s Facebook page! Hugs, Fran
One more Sprinkles of Life – a cupcake! This shows the Designer Series paper – Cherry on Top. It’s a great 6 x 6 paper stack (Bermuda Bay, Cucumber Crush, Crushed Curry, Pool Party, Tip Top Taupe, Watermelon Wonder, Whisper White.) The cupcake is on the smallest Deco Framelit and the banner underneath is made with the new Triple Banner punch! Don’t you just love the colors in this DSP? More Sprinkles of Life and it’s matching punch! This time I used it as an ice cream cone on a notecard. The front layer is a piece of the SAB paper, Irresistibly Yours. I brayered over it with Blushing Bride and then punched a 2 inch circle from the side. The cone is Soft Suede on Crumb Cake and the ice cream is Soft Suede, Blushing Bride and Whisper White. I added some Dazzling Details to the highlights. June 2nd can’t come soon enough! Hugs, Fran
