When I finished all my Beau Chateau projects, I had LOTS of scraps left over! And I mean LOTS! I don’t usually save scraps, but since I had a limited amount of paper with that project, I saved every little bit of paper. I just didn’t feel like I could sweep them all into the trash – I had to do something with them. So I made this ornament –
I simply got out my Boho Blossom punch and punched all the scrap into flowers, stacked them and attached them to a styrofoam ball with pearl topped pins. In real life the ball has a much softer look – my camera wants you to see every edge! What a fun way to use up scrap! I had wrapped a piece of Victorian Lace around the ball before I started for a hanger and finished it off with some Marina Mist grosgrain – thought I’m considering changing it to Very Vanilla. What do you think? Enjoy! Hugs, Fran
Love your idea !! Just ordered that punch too, and I have loads of scraps. I am going to pass your post to a friend as well, as she is known for never throwing out scraps and I know she just ordered the punch as well. Have a great day. Hugs n’ Stuff, Lynne
Wow…what a way to use those scraps!! Love the papers and pearls!!
The ornament is lovely.I would prefer a paler bow, the dark blue is quite dominating. The pearlneedles are gorgeous!
