My Stamp Room

Nancy asked me to show some pictures of my stamp room – so since to day is a bit hurried around here I thought I’d just show you around! This is were I do most of my stamping.  The pad holders were custom built by a friend and are really wonderful.  The ribbon is in a paper gutter that has a yard stick attached below it.  The wheel are now in two places – I outgrew the first one quickly!

Here’s a closer look at my stamp pad organizer.  It has a column for each color family and holds both types of pads, re inkers, wheels and markers! (The wheels are in the little plastic baggies that are sticking out!!)

Moving around the room are my current stamp sets, punches and my wheeled cart that helps me get projects from the craft room out to the class area. The boxes below the stamp sets are scrapbook pages that still need to be put in albums – how embarrassing!  This is where you can start to tell that this room was done in 2 stages – one is white and one is brown!

This is the “business corner” and my cutting station.  I filed current DSP in the vertical storage holders on the shelves, along with project baskets and cutting tools.  The backboard is cork so I can stick up things that need to be dealt with in near future or things I want to scrap!  You can also see where I cut, cut, cut!

Last, but not least, is my paper – filed in the same order as the catalog.  The shelves on the farthest left hold scrapbook paper that I’ve “collected” over the years sorted by color.  The rolling file is two levels and holds my scraps.  It is truly amazing how much stuff I have shoved into this space – but it’s my space and I really enjoy it!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

  23. Incredible room! You’ve inspired me to redo my room. When you say the stamp pad storage has room for wheels which are kept in plastic bags, do you mean the cartridges for the wheels? I have a carousel ink storage which always leans to one side, sits on the desk and can’t turn because my desk is too full of stuff. Would love to get my ink storage on the walls. I’m so glad you shared this with us!
