What’s Your Type? Sneak Peek

My friend Anne won one of the Prize Patrols at the Catalog Premiere Monday night – and she dropped the set off today for me to play with for a few days!  The set is called What’s Your Type? and is a photopolymer set of 23 stamps.  All the stamps are geometrical-kind-of stamps and this is the first card I made with it.  It will be a really, really fun stamp set!

Supplies
Stamp Sets – What’s Your Type (available starting June 2), Yippee Skippee
Card stock – Coastal Cabana, Whisper White
Ink – Tangerine Tango, Coastal Cabana. Island Indigo
Etc – Retro Fresh washi tape, Candy Dots

This card took minutes to make! Hugs, Fran

Cool Kids Fold

A friend and I were trying to figure out this fold that we saw on Pinterest.  It’s really 2 cards – one cut 5.5 x 8.5 and the other cut 5 1/4 x 4.  I used Cool Kids (because it hasn’t seen as much ink as it should!) and Peachy Keen to make the background design.  To make the “cut” on the front I marked the open side at 2 3/4 and then the top and bottom at 2 3/4.  Once this was cut, I die cut the opening with a Square Framelit.

Supplies
Stamp Sets – Cool Kids, Peachy Keen, Yippee-Skippee
Cardstock – Melon Mambo, Whisper White
Ink – Jet black Stazon, Melon Mambo
Etc – Distressed Dots embossing fold, Sqaure Framelit, Neutral Button

I may go back and put a paper airplane on the front too.  Kind of looks like the poor kitty is playing with string!  Hugs, Fran

The Power of Two

One of my friends and I love to get up early in the morning and meet for coffee whenever we can.  It’s a great way for us to get in some “girl time” before the day takes off.  So the sentiment on the front of my card celebrates this time .  The card is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2

Inside I used Karen Burniston’s Garden Bench Pop It Ups die to create this scene.  (Stamp is from Art Impressions)  The die comes with the flowers and grass (and more!)

To keep “our feet on the ground” I used the grass and few flowers – and a box behind it.  There’s also a box behind the image to keep it steady.

Can you see them?  One on the bench and one on the ground.

Supplies
Stamp Set – Perfect Blend,  Yippee-Skippee, Coffee BFFs (AI)
Card stock – Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Pool Party, Whisper White, Sweet Sorbet DSP (SA
Ink – Jet Black Stazon
Etc – Garden Bench and Agatha Edges Pop It Ups, Oval Punch, Oval Framelit, Candy dots

Now if only the snow would melt so we could sit on a garden bench.  Hugs, Fran
