Merry Christmas to You

Merry Christmas a bit early!  As a great big “Thank You” for following my blog, here’s a tutorial to create my

I truly appreciate everyone who stops by my little space on the web!  Your comments and feedback always delight me – and even just knowing you’re out there makes it all worthwhile!

I’m giving it to you early so you can make your own to give.  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Measurements for Tag Tin

I’ve gotten quite a few requests for the measurements on the tags and the insert for my little tag tin project –

The finished tag sizes are 2 1/4 x 4 1/4 (long tag) and 2 1/4 x 2 1/2 (both small tags)

To make the insert, start with a piece of card stock that is 4 3/4 x 6 1/8.  Score at 2 1/2, 2 7/8 and 3 1/4.  This will give you the center fold to divide the box in half.

To make the piece that divides the right hand section in half, start with a piece of card stock that is 2 7/8 x 1 3/4.  Score at 1/2, 7/8 and 1 1/4.  Fold it and adhere the flaps at the center of the side section.

Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Sweet Celebrations

Several of you asked for a little more information on this card –

It’s a 4″ x 12″ piece of Kraft card stock scored at 4 and 8 1/8.  The shorter side folds to the front.

Slice an angle from the front starting at 1 1/2 inches up the side.  The striped ribbon works as a belly band to hold the card together.  Hope that helps!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

FIle in the Middle

http://dawnsstampingthoughts.typepad.com/dawns_stamping_thoughts/2007/05/cruise_card_tut.html

To make the card you cut your Blush Blossom cardstock to 5 1/2 x 11 and another piece 4 x 5 1/2. Score the 5 1/2 x 11  at 4″. 7″ and 10″ and attach the 4 x 5 1/2 piece to the one inch end.  This creates an accordian fold in the center.

Use your 1 3/8″ punch on one side of the fold, close the fold and punch again exactly over the first punch.
