Holiday Mini fun! When I first saw this set – Santa Stache – I wasn’t sure what I thought! After a bit of playing around with the set and matching mustache die, I think it’s fun! So here is a case of the catalog sample with a few changes using the set, die and blendabilities.

Ink – Memento Tux Black, Cherry Cobbler

Etc – Mustache die, Cherry Cobbler and skin tone Blendabilities

This card is for the Splitcoast September Creative Crew challenge to focus on the Typeset Designer Series paper. I embossed the Very Vanilla with the Beautifully Baroque embossing folder and sponged the edges with Crumb Cake, On the Typeset panel I sponged and added my sentiment (heat embossed) and flowers from Flower Shop. Then I splattered Espresso ink on the card by tapping an aqua painter against my bone folder.

Here’s another Splitcoast Creative Crew challenge card. The challenge is to create a card for Grandparents Day with a vintage look. When I think of my grandparents, I think “amazing” – so Lovely Romance was the stamp set!

First I embossed the Very Vanilla with the Beautifully Baroque stamp set, then stamped I Love Lace over the top. The next Vanilla layer is Postcard with Lovely Romance – and it’s topped with Bloom with Hope and the sentiment from Lovely Romance.

One of the Splitcoast Creative Crew Challenges this month is to use Dimensionals! That’s an easy one because I use them on everything 🙂 I used the single stamp, Snapshot, and stamped the camera 3 times. Then I cut each layer apart and stacked them back together again using Dimensionals between each layer.

Wondrous Wreath

Here’s a project that I did for the Splitcoast Creative Crew 🙂 The challenge is for the Scrapbook and More Focus: Make a treat and package it. Come play with us!

I used Wondrous Wreath and the new Cafe Bags to make this. First I ran the bag through the Big Shot using the Woodgrain embossing folder then I stamped the wreath. I punched a tiny hole using the smallest hand held punch to attach the Wooden Essential leaf. All the supplies are listed here.

Wondrous Wreath has a matching die set and markers on the stamps so you can line them up. It’s very easy to do. The tag on the bag was made with For All Things which is a beautiful Fall set. You can play along with all the challenges this month by heading here –

Today’s the day you can start ordering from the Holiday Mini! The Gift Box Punch Board (135863) is my favorite product in the catalog. Here is a little box made with the Under the Tree Specialty Designer Series Paper and Get Your Santa on stamp set for the tag. I used the Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities to color the Santa and Cherry Cobbler ink to stamp the “JOY” banner. Tied up with new Cherry Cobbler Linen ribbon, you have a sweet package to hold your gift! Isn’t this a pretty stamp set? It’s called Ornamental Pine and will be available in two days in the Holiday Mini! I used Lost Lagoon as the base, stamped the background with the pine several times and then embossed the pine and pinecone in white embossing powder. To finish it off, I sprayed the entire card with shimmer spray.

This card is really Melon Mambo. My camera isn’t “seeing” the bright pink – so you’ll have to use your imagination! With Silver foil Vellum and some glimmer paper, this stamp set says it all.

Thinking about Christmas? Or how about a birthday party? These little Tiny Treat Boxes (135829) are 2 x 2 x 2 and can be used for lots of things. Here I simply copied the idea on page 12 of the Holiday Mini. I used the 25 Days stamp set and stacked them into a tree. But I see lots of ideas for the boxes and stamp set. This will be a great set for Project Life! But for this project – it’s a Count Down to Christmas. Now I have plenty of time to find things to fill it 🙂 Hugs, Fran
