Pink and Purple Christmas greetings cased from the catalog. I used Elegant Eggplant and Rich Razzleberry with the Flurry of Wishes of stamp set. Then I spritzed it with shimmer spray – because it was out and I just HAD to! Hugs, Fran

So here is the same card as here – in pinks! The shimmer spray is so beautiful on the pink inks. I used Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, Melon Mambo and Flirty Flamingo. Love this die! Hugs, Fran
Floral Phrases is such a gorgeous die and stamp set! I first saw this design with the sponged background under the die cut from Sara Jane Rae. I changed the colors and added some shimmer spray (rubbing alcohol, re inker and sparkle) to the background. The die is perfectly suited to showing off something wonderful underneath. To add the ribbon, I used a craft knife to make slits in the front panel and slid the ribbon behind it. I also off set the panel to the left. The colors used on this one are Night of Navy, Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Soft Sky. Hugs, Fran
Touches of Texture is a wonderful set! The textured look of the stamps can be used on their own of paired with other sentiments or stamp sets. This card uses the brick embossing folder on the background and lots of grungy stamping.
I paired it with Thankful Thoughts and added some Crystal Effects on the flower. Linen thread finishes it off. Hugs, Fran
Here’s another Sunshine Sayings bundle card inspired from the catalog. Using Sahara Sand paper from the Neutral Patterned Paper Pack, this card is soft and sweet. My biggest addition is the colored pearls. I used a Copic marker but they can also be colored with a Sharpie marker or any other alcohol marker. Hugs, Fran
I love the sample in the catalog of Sunshine Sayings! The bright colors really make me happy – so I cased it. I used So Saffron for the stamping and Crushed Curry for the die cut flower. The word was cut out of watercolor paper and then watercolored with Bermuda Bay and an aqua painter. And of course there had to be bling! Those sequins really had a nice touch! Very fun! Hugs, Fran
Every year Stampin Up creates a stamp set that benefits the Ronald McDonald House Charities. This year it’s My Hero – and can be found on the inside back page of the catalog.
I used some Serene Scenery Designer paper for this simple Delightful Dijon and Bermuda Bay card. I fussy cut the #1, popped it up and covered it with Crystal Effects. This image also matches the Badge punch. It’s a nice way to give back to those in need. Hugs, Fran
This set is going to be a favorite – Foxy Friends! And with a matching punch there are endless characters for this set. I used the A Little Foxy Designer paper for this card and Better Together for the sentiment. Hugs, Fran
This month’s group challenge is “Up!” so I decided to work with Bella & Friends again to create an encouragement card. I started with Karen Burniston’s cloud stencil on some Soft Sky card stock. The image is watercolored.
I love the stencil on this color. It creates such a soft, pretty background.
Inside I used the Lots of Pops die – one of my favorites because it works with so many different situations. I left the two side “pops” in and just used the ones in the center. This Bella is the one with the turtle. She’s riding in the Hot Air Balloon die (another very versatile die!) with clouds floating in the background
The banner is just scraps from the Subtles Designer paper pack. Up, up and away! Make sure to check Karen’s blog to see all the other designer’s cards! Hugs, Fran
Bunch of Blossoms is a set that has a matching punch! Love that! For this card I was inspired by the catalog – just decided to add to it.
The beautiful paper is the Irresistibly Floral Specialty paper and can be sponged over to show off the design. It’s also pretty on it’s own 🙂 Hugs, Fran
