This is one of the cards we will be doing Thursday at my Sympathy/Thinking of You class.  This one uses Happy Watercolor and Blessings From Heaven.  The watermark behind the flower is done by stamping with Soft Sky three times without reinking.  It gives a nice, faded look to the background.

This must be my favorite suite of products in the mini catalog – Happy Watercolor and Designer Series paper that matches.  Here I used Karen Burniston’s Katie Label Pivot Pop It Up to make a card using the Watercolor Wonder DSP to show off the sentiment. 

The paper has such pretty designs!  A pivot card is a nice way to show them off.  And I love polka dots so the Distressed Dots embossing folder was perfect here. (and it’s a Saleabration item!)

I even used it on the Pansy Punch!

I cased this layout from one done by Sandy Matthis.  I changed the colors and punch – but kept the layout.  This is another card using Happy Watercolor – this time on watercolor paper.

Here’s a “funny” – last night I saw a package on my porch and went out to get it.  It was something my aunt and uncle had mailed me 3 1/2 years ago!!

I cased one of the Happy Watercolor cards in the Occasions Mini and was surprised to find that it just didn’t look “right.”  I had used a 1/2 sheet of Whisper White – and the card in the mini was on a notecard (31/2 x 5).  So I thought I’d show you the difference.

Ink – Pool Party, Smokey Slate, Versamark
Etc – Gold embossing powder

A Summer Starfruit thank you!  The stamp that looks like a brushstroke is going to be so popular in this set.  I used Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding and Summer Starfruit to create the color behind the Jet Black Stazon flower.  The DSP is a tiny piece from one coming up for Sale a bration (you’re going to love it!)  The Basic Black matting really gives these colors a bold look – and I’ll have to remake it with some other colors so you can see the difference,
