Polished Best Friends

This card is based on a swap from Lisa Bowell.  I changed the stamp set and paper – but kept the layout and colors.  I used the Polished Stone technique on the glossy white piece using only Lucky Limeade and Always Artichoke to create the color.

Supplies
Stamp set – Best Friends Forever
card stock – Lucky Limeade, Always Artichoke, Glossy White, Whisper White, Basic Black, Rich Regals DSP
Ink – Versamark,  Lucky Limeade and Always Artichoke reinkers
Etc – Black embossing powder, Wide oval punch, Scallop edge punch

This is tech week for Samantha’s last high school show (Into the Woods.)  I have lists all over the place so I have a chance of remembering what I’m suppose to be doing, bringing, organizing!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

More Regional Projects

This is a project from the Louisville Regionals – and it probably seems a bit early.  Made with the Petite Pocket die, the little book holds notes (or gift cards!) They used the stamp set You Are Loved from the Holiday Mini – I used Delightful Dozens and Best Friends Forever.

Each pocket is cut slight smaller than the next.  They are attached together with the ribbon.  My goal for this weekend is to remake this in a Christmas theme – and keep this one for Valentine Day.  Hope you’re having a great start to the weekend!  Hugs, Fran

Casing Di

I cased most of this from Diana Gibbs!  BFF was a convention set – wow!  I love the images in this set.  I kept almost all the elements of Di’s card and just scaled it down a bit.

Supplies
Stamp Set – Best Friends Forever
card stock – Riding Hood Red, Basic Black, First Edition DSP, Very Vanilla
Ink – Riding Hood Red, Basic Black
Etc – jewel, Riding Hood Red taffeta

Here’s a cooking note from dinner last night – do not substitute broccoli for asparagus!  I made an alfredo dish that called for asparagus – didn’t have any so I used broccoli – wrong!  It was so bad we ended up tossing it.  (And I am blaming it on the broccoli and NOT my cooking!)

I know that I’m being called for jury duty this week.  I’m guessing it will be tomorrow.  Since I have my Christmas Stamp a Stacks on Thursday and Friday, I’m going to be doing some “extreme cutting” this morning!  Enjoy – Hugs, Fran
