These little bottles were originally for wedding favors – I found them in a clearance aisle last year! I’ve used them for several things and now they will be Halloween party favors (if I have enough left!) They have flat sides – perfect for stamping! Since the table will have a black cloth, I’ve left the lids as they came – black and white.
The faces are from Jack of All Trades, stamped in Stazon. The stem is two pony beads glued together with Crystal Effects. The leaves are from the two step Bird punch. And the “curlies” are simply strips of card stock rolled onto my piercing tool.
Supplies
Stamp set – Jack of All Trade
card stock – Old Olive
Ink – Jet Black Stazon
Etc – Two step Bird punch, pony beads, small jar
Stampin with friends this morning – the best way to start a weekend! Enjoy – Hugs, Fran

I have Card Club this morning and tonight. I went to take pictures of the projects and – no battery. Samantha and I must have switched camera batteries somehow (at least I hope that’s what happened!) At least that’s an easy fix! Have a great day- Enjoy! Hugs, Fran
Little Boo
It’s Holiday Mini time! (My favorite!) There is a die in the mini called Peekaboo Frames (124587 – page 36) that is shown on the advent calendar. It’s darling – but we need to be able to use it for more than one project. One idea is to make cute tags. Here is Little Boo –
This is the front – the ghost is the Owl punch. Here it is open –
Supplies
Big Shot die – Peekaboo Frames, Naturally Serif alphabet
card stock – Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black, Whisper White
Etc – Owl punch, googlie eyes, 1/2 circle punch, Black polka dot ribbon
The inspiration for the little ghost came from a card that a friend showed me – that looked something like this –
Do you know who designed this card? I wrote it down and then tossed the note – sigh! (ETA – the original design is from Mega Stampin Studio) When will I learn not to leave notes on my stampin desk? I can’t tell you how many times I’ve written a note and then used that paper to scoop embossing powder or catch glitter – then tossed the paper without thinking! The hazzards of Dazzling Diamonds! Enjoy – Hugs, Fran
Eeek!
I had a funny idea yesterday and just dropped everything to create this little guy!
I hung him on the window going out back and just waited – the kids were not impressed. So much for them! He’s made of ornament punches and a window sheet that has been embossed with the spider web embossing folder. Here’s another – though not very good – view.
Supplies
Card stock – Basic Black, window sheet
Ornament punch
Spider web embossing folder
4″ Circle die
googlie eyes
Now to get back to what I’m suppose to be doing! Enjoy! Hugs, Fran
Special Anniverary
My parents have just celebrated their 55th anniversary! The card I made for them used ALL retired product – can you believe it? But I want to share it with you and explain how I made it. (You can just mentally insert all current items!)
Here’s the card –
It’s a 6 x 6 WIld Wasabi base. The rose makes it too cumbersome to put in an envelope so I made a box.
The box is this design but the measurements are 9 1/8 x 9 1/8 scored at 1 1/2.
The heart is chipboard and the card is fairly heavy. The box makes a nice finishing touch.
I feel like I’ve gotten way off course! Not retiring (because it’s WAY retired!), not new or a sneak peek! But I hope you enjoy it – Hugs, Fran
Hello and Goodbye
Let’s start with a “hello!” A sneak peek of something coming in July – Pennant Parade – and a sneak peek of the new In Colors being added this year.
From left to right – Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, Wisteria Wonder, Island Indigo. Cute pennant punch makes this easy to create –
Gotta have bling!
And they are ready to go –

Ink – Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, Wisteria Wonder, Island Indigo

More Pretty Postage
This is going to be quick – I have some new reading material that was just delivered to my house and I can hardly type with it sitting next to me! Can you guess?
Here are two more projects made with the Pretty Postage set in the Summer Mini. First a simple card –
Supplies
Stamp Sets – Pretty Postage, Tiny Tags
card stock – Real Red, Whisper White, Real Red DSP
Ink – Real Red
Etc – Dot embossing folder, Postage Punch, 1/8 taffeta Real Red, Tiny Tag punch
And a tag on a Bitty Box –
Last, but not least – wave goodbye to From the Crypt (sob!) One of my favorites!
Gotta go – the catalog calls! Enjoy – Hugs, Fran
Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch
Here’s a card I did for a Case challenge – case a sample from the demonstrator magazine Stampin’ Success. For this card I simply changed the colors and kept the layout.
I used the Bold Blossoms stamp set (which is being carried over into the Summer mini) and the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch. This punch does three different images. You slide the lever to choose which one you want. Very fun!
I had the hardest time getting this placed the way I wanted and moved the flowers and oval around many times – until I just said “enough”” and let it go! Go figure!
Supplies
Stamp Set – Bold Blossoms
card stock – Pink Pirouette, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze, Bashful Blue, Always Artichoke
Ink – Pink Pirouette, Early Espresso
Etc – Early Espresso satin ribbon, pearls, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch,1/4″circle punch, Wide Oval punch
We’ve been hanging out in the basement as huge lines of storms and tornadoes pass by outside! Stay safe and sound today!!
Enjoy – Hugs, Fran
Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch
This new punch is so much fun! Three punches in one! Here I’ve paired it up with the stem in Bold Blossom and a set from the Summer Mini called Happy Greetings. This was my swap card for our team meeting yesterday.
With this cute sentiment I knew I wanted to have a “he loves me, he loves me not” look. I simply snipped a blossom from the punch and pulled it out a bit.
The DSP is First Edition brayered with Blushing Bride. Behind it I used the line of pearls on the pearl sheet.
Supplies
Stamp sets – Bold Blossom, Happy Greetings
card stock – Pink Pirouette, Pear Pizzazz, First Edition DSP, Whisper White
Ink – Pear Pizzazz, Basic Black, Pink Pirouette
Etc – pearls, Pink Pirouette ribbon, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch, Tasteful Trim Big Shot die
And here’s a terrible picture of the inside. I made it with My Digital Studio and printed it out on Whisper White card stock.
I didn’t photograph it at the same time as the card – but I did want to share it so you’ll have to ignore the shadow! Enjoy! Hugs, Fran
Hydrangea Frame
This is closer to my original idea when I ended up with this frame. Kirsteen Gill made a hydrangea card that I love and I used a piece of her design to make this –
The flower is a 2″ styrofoam ball sliced in half. I punched lots of little flowers with the Itty Bitty flower punch and sponged them with Marina Mist ink. Then I used pins to attach them to the ball. Note – keep wire cutters on hand in case the pins stick all the way through. You need the back to be flat! After the flowers are all attached, top the pins with pearls – so cute!
The stem is stamped directly on to the frame with Stazon and then colored with Classic Inks and a blender pen. The strip at the bottom is stamped on Whisper White and trimmed very close, sponged and glued down. Once all the flowers are sponged it goes together quickly! And it’s not quite as “shiny” in real life.
Supplies
Stamp Set – Friends 24/7
card stock – Whisper White
Ink – Marina Mist, Stazon
Stampin Write Markers – Old Olive, Marina Mist
Ect – 2″ styrofoam ball, pearls, Silver Hodepodge frame, Marina Mist taffeta, painted frame
Enjoy! Hugs, Fran
