Still More Tags

Both of these tags were inspired by some I saw on Stampin Up’s demonstrator site.  The first one uses Snow Much Fun and the idea came from Becky Roberts.  It’s a fast and easy tag – perfect for this time of year!

Supplies
Stamp Set – Snow Much Fun
card stock- Real Red, Old Olive, Whisper White
Ink – Jet Black Stazon
Stampin Write Markers – Real Red, Bashful Blue, Blush Blossom, Pumpkin Pie
Etc – Scallop Circle punch, Circles #2 die, 1 3/4 circle punch

The next one is a “front door” tag using the Stitched Felt wreath.  I cased Mary Brown’s idea of using Petite Pairs inside the wreath.  The sections of the door are on Dimensionals.

Supplies
Stamp Set – Petite Pairs
card stock – Real Red, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Ink – Chocolate Chip
Etc- Stitched Felt wreath, gold brad, 1/8″ Real Red Ribbon

Inspired by others – makes me smile!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Serene Snowflake

This card is fashioned after a swap I received at Regionals.  There was no name on the back – but it is a cute card!  I changed the ribbon and the ribbon placement but the rest is pretty much as it came to me.

Supplies
Stamp sets – Serene Snowflakes, Hand Penned Holidays
card stock- Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler,Very Vanilla
Ink – Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler
Etc – Snowburst embossing folder, Cherry Cobbler seam binding, Scallop Trim punch

Did you have a nice Thanksgiving?  We did!  We went to see Wicked last night – it was so wonderful!  We even got most of the Christmas decorations up. And now everyone is on their way back to their homes. I have eaten enough to keep me full until I see everyone again at Christmas!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Bird Punch Clips and Ornaments

I made a little ornament/decoration out of the Bird punch- similar to what I did with the Bat punch earlier.  I put it on fishing string and made an ornament.

I used 6 punches in Whisper White and then embossed a piece of Shimmery White with the Petals embossing folder and punched 2 more from that.  On the second one I separated the wings with little pieces of Dimensionals.

You can’t really see the wings in this photo – it’s hard to photograph white on white.  Then go over the bird with a Two Way Glue pen and add Dazzling Diamonds.  Another idea is to put on of the birds on a clip and attach to a package –

The box is covered at the bottom with Holly Berry Bouquet DSP and the top is brayered with Real Red ink, covered with Tombow Multipurpose glue and Dazzling Diamonds – lots of Dazzling Diamonds!

Have you seen the Online Extravaganza yet?  Lots of deals – especially today!  I’m shopping!  Enjoy – Hugs, Fran

Traditional Tree

This is the same, traditional tree that I made in the assembly video.  Since I didn’t have another bucket, I went on a search for another container.  What I came across is a small, Christmas box that ended up being an exact match to Riding Hood Red!

I added some Old Olive satin ribbon and a few tags from Tiny Tags on a Vintage Trinket pin.

I promise to show you something else tomorrow!  I’m just having too much fun with these trees   Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Bling Tree

Here’s a totally different take on the Medallion Christmas Tree – bling!  I made this one with the First Edition Designer Series paper and Champagne Glass glitter.  (The cutting and assembly for this tree can be found here.)

I applied the glitter with Tombow Multipurpose glue after the medallions were made – but before they were assembled.

The star on top is an ornament.  I just snipped the loop off the top and hot glued it down.  The base is a hurricane candle holder tied with Whisper White organza ribbon.  Tomorrow I’ll show you another “look!”  Enjoy – Hugs, Fran

Sounding Case

I was out of town for a few days and was slightly shocked to find that there are places in this great country where there is no internet!  I must be very spoiled.  Time did not allow me to search for a restaurant or coffee shop – so I was out of luck!  So here’s a card cased from the Holiday Mini that’s a bit late being shown –

I used the Medallion background stamp instead of the Letter Press behind the main image.  The rest is just like the mini!

Supplies
Stamp Sets – The Sounding Joy, Medallion
card stock – Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Pool Party
Ink – More Mustard, Cherry Cobbler, Versamark
Etc – Gold embossing powder, Cherry Cobbler seam binding, Boho Blossom punch, pearl, Scallop Border punch

Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

The Sounding Joy

Here’s another The Sounding Joy card using black and silver – and Shimmery White. The black card stock on the side is embossed with the Striped embossing folder – but I can’t get it to show up in the photo.  The Top Note die is embossed with the Snowflake embossing folder.  To do this, die cut first and then emboss.

Stamp Set – The Sounding Joy
card stock – Shimmery White. Basic Black, Brushed Silver
Ink – Versamark
Etc – Top Note die, Snowflake and Striped embossing folders, Basic Black satin ribbon, rhinestone brad, silver embossing powder.

Christmas stampin was fun yesterday – and we’re doing it again tonight!  I’ll share those cards soon.  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Another Regional Tag

Here’s another tag that I saw at Regionals.  This one is made with the Pennant punch by punching three scalloped pennant, folding them in half and adhering them together.  I think this was done by another demonstrator and just shown on stage – if you know who created the original, let me know.

Again, I made a 2 1/2 x 4 1/4 tag and stamped the pot from Pennant Parade on the bottom.  Then I made the tree and inserted a glimmer brad at the top.  Since I didn’t want the brad to show on the back, I covered it with another tag.  The brad was a bit bigger than I planned – should have moved the Dear Santa up!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran
