This is what I made for our team gift exchange. It’s a fun project that can be altered for any occasion. Here’s how you do it –
Die cut two pieces of chipboard using the 3″ circle die. Set aside the circles and die cut around the negative with the 4″ circle die. This gives you two doughnut shapes. Glue them together and paint them white. The clothespins are heavy – I used heavy chipboard for this part.
Cover approximately 25 clothespins on both sides. For these clothespins, I cut my paper 3/8″ x about 3″. Glue them down. Any clear drying glue will do. This one is the same on the front and back. You could make it multi-season by using different paper on each side.
Tie a long piece of Cherry Cobbler seam binding to your base and start placing your clothespins around the edge. Once I got it spaced the way I wanted, I glued one side down just where the pins touch the base. Then I added a banner.
And a cute gift needs a cute box The finished size of this box is 9 1/2 x 9 1/2 (which give you a better idea of the finished size of the wreath!)
Really? These clothespins are for laundry? Hugs, Fran
