My second card for Karen Burniston’s Design Team challenge is for Thanksgiving. I used her Circle Accordion die and lots of punches to create a turkey! My turkey is punched from Cajun Craze, Tangerine Tango, Early Espresso and Crushed Curry. The Designer Series paper is SU’s Color Me Autumn. I went around the circle with the KB Rings Frame Edges 1 and lots of Cajun Craze Candy Dots. The leaves are punched from the SU Bird punch and finished off with an Early Espresso button and twine.
Inside shows off a greeting from Mingle All the Way (Holiday Mini). I hope you’ll jump over to Karen’s Facebook page to see an “entire year” of ideas from all the designers!
It’s a new month (can you believe it?) and that means new challenges for the Creative Crew at Splitcoast Stampers. For the Project Life challenge, I made a 12 x 12 Thanksgiving page using the Seasonal Snapshots cards. The traditional family photo will go in the upper right hand corner block and I can journal to my heart’s content in the journaling block. A Fall Pop N Cuts card! For the front of this card I used pieces from the Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit in the Holiday Mini and some Sweater Weather Designer Series paper.
The inside is a Thanksgiving/friendship scene featuring my favorite Dress Form insert.
The banner was made in MDS 2 and the mirror is Label Love with the matching punch and a little bit of silver foil paper for the inside. Her tablecloth is a Doily.
The turkey is a small oval punch with Build a Blossom legs. It sits on a circle punch serving platter. The bowls of cranberries and green beans are also the small oval punch with scallop punches for the cranberries.
The rug is a Sizzix embossing folder designed by Karen Burniston – works great here!

I made these to be name tags for my Thanksgiving table following Kay’s directions. They are so cute! The only changes I made were tying the tops with burlap instead of ribbon and adding a way to lift the lid.
(That’s a piece of Word Window punch.) Won’t my table look festive?
