Happy New Year! I’m starting off the year with one of my favorite sets in the Spring Mini – Just Married. I simply love this cake! This card started out as a vintage idea and took a turn somewhere when I neared my embossing powder 
Look very closely to see the little pearls on the cake.

Needed a few more tags to finish up this season’s wrapping. I had this tag that I cased and it’s pretty and easy enough to make a stack of them quickly. The Vanilla ornament is embossed with clear embossing powder – and at some point I switched to the Sugar and Spice embossing powder because it smells so good!

This little guy will hold Candied Almonds. He’s made from the retired Bag with Scallop die – but I thought you could use the idea. Plus he’s hiding some delicious snacks. So here’s the recipe for the almonds
The trick with these is to keep stirring until the liquid is completely gone. It happens in a flash – so don’t quit stirring! Hugs, Fran

Are you wrapping yet? Here’s a gift bag made with a rolled tree (again!) This bag is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 and is 15 inches tall. It’s made like a 2,4,6,8 bag but took pieces of DSP to make. Then I started rolling little 3/4″ pieces of some retired DSP to make the tree. Add bling – and you have a great bag. Here’s to wrapping! Hugs, Fran
