Delightful Dozen Mothers Day

This card came together from a group of pieces that were in my stamping “pile!”  I had a dress form that I had already stamped and then changed my mind, a butterfly that was a left over from a project and several doilies that had been used to spritz another card.  Put them together and you get this!

This is the card that I used the doilies to spritz the front.  It’s a case of one that Donna Griffith did at a stamping demo.  So the Doilies were already very saturated with Shimmer Mist before I even started!  I just turned the center one over so it was solid.

The dress form had some of the Lace tape in the Spring Mini on the front – then sponged over and removed.  En Francais was stamped over the entire piece. 

Fabulous Flourishes was stamped on the background using Stampin Write Markers.  Then I used Crystal Effects on the Not Quite Navy flowers to make them pop.

The Easter Bunny got up early to set the table for brunch   These little bunny boxes are sitting at everyone’s place – don’t they look cute?  The tutorial came from UStamp with Dawn and Friends Big Shor Roundup and were designed by Teresa Giordano and are made with the Petite Purse die and lots of punches.  Very clever!  Thanks, Teresa – they add the perfect touch to my table today!.  I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!  Hugs, Fran

This is a case of a project that the amazing Karen Burniston did for UStamp with Dawn and Friends Big Shot Roundup.  A Floating Framelits card – with a Dress Form embellishment, of course!  I used the Window Framelit – which didn’t work quite as well as the Label Framelit she used – but is still fun.  You can find the instructions over at UStamp.

Comfort Cafe – such pretty Designer Series paper!  Are you starting to think about the patterns that will retire – and stocking up on those you HAVE to have?  This is one of mine!  I used a Sizzix Accordion Flip die to make this album and the yummy Comfort Cafe DSP!  This is how it looks closed.  I cut through the first two layers with the Heart framelits – another love!  The Cajun Craze heart is floating – on fishing line, of course

I used a line of Basic Pearls to outline the heart.

A window sheet stamped in Whisper White Craft ink – Netting – for one of the see through panels!

Fabulous Phrases in the tiniest heart – and some Cajun Craze ink. 

And the beautiful sentiment from Wonderful Mother – it’s just perfect!  Plus a Cute Clip – hearts all over the place!

Blooming with Kindness is such a pretty stamp set.  The top card is a wedding card in Cherry Cobbler and Baja Breeze. I used Dazzling Details on the flower.   The bottom card was me just fooling around   I tried using a sponge dauber with a lighter color to highlight the flower.  Do you have a preference?

Yesterday a friend and I got together to make treat boxes for her daughter’s bridal shower.  Such a cute bride – and she’s using Pool Party as one of her colors!  We used the Pop Up Posies Designer Kit and the Fancy Favor die to make 14 of these for the event.  Even with a lot of chatting, laughing and eating chocolate – it only took us 2 hours to knock them out. 

Everything is included in the kit except the box, adhesive and shimmer spray.  We used 2 kits – which was perfect because we each got to keep on of the darling Just For You stamp sets!  (don’t you love the font!)

I wish you could see this in real life.  (or that I could take better pictures!)  The center panel of this card is covered in iridescent ice embossing power and it sparkles.  I stamped the image twice – though I think you could do this like some of the triple layer stamping seen lately – and covered the center layer with Versamark.  Then I embossed it – and it sparkles!
