Dahlia Christmas

Love the little Dahlias!  Aren’t they cute as a Christmas tree?

Supplies
Stamp Set – Tiny Tags
card stock – Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Champagne Glitter paper,  Be of Good Cheer DSP
Stampin Write Markers – Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green
Etc – Tasteful Trim die, Dahlias, Linen Thread, Top Note die, star punch, Little Label punch

The dahlias can be applied with glue dots.  I used glue so that I would have a little wiggle room in getting them lined up straight.  Use a ruler to line up the bottom row.

Hugs, Fran

Christmas Petal Cone

This is one of the boxes (could you call this a box?) we will be making at my Gift Boxes class in December.  It’s made with the Petal Cone and Snow Flurry die.  I had a hard time getting the Bashful Blue to photograph and still look Bashful.  There are lots of sweet little details on this pouch, but the photo just would not cooperate with me.  Hugs, Fran

Rolling Along

Cased from a card that was shown at Convention, this was so fun to do!

I used 3/4″ wide strips of Snow Festival Designer Series paper (cut at various lengths) and rolled them around a bamboo skewer.  Then I sprayed the entire front with Shimmer (alcohol and shimmer frost ink)spray.  It sparkles! And since I was watching the election results – and it was a long night – I continued rolling –

Here’s a few hints – I used glue to adhere them – but I’d recommend a glue gun unless you’re very patient.   Draw your Christmas tree triangle on your grid paper or a piece of copy paper first.  That will help you determine how long to cut each strip.  Find any and everything sparkly in your stash to decorate your tree.

Hugs, Fran

Scentsational Quilted Card

Lots and Lots of texture going on here.  I’m not sure if you can see it but I put the squares on the Top Note die, cut it out and ran it through the Big Shot using the Fan embossing folder.  Not to mention that the Early Espresso layer is embossed with the Square Lattice folder, the mug is heat embossed with the yummy Sugar and Spice embossing powder and there are rhinestones.  Overboard!  But I like it.
Supplies
Stamp Sets – Scentsational Season, Greetings of the Season
Card stock – Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Be of Good Cheer DSP
Ink – Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso
Etc – Fan and Square Lattice embossing folder, Sugar and Spice embossing powder, Top Note Die, 1 1/4 and 1 3/8 square punches, hobby blade, rhinestones
Hope you do too!  Hugs, Fran

Santa Owl

Santa Owls on covered clothespins, holding little Petite Pocket Treats.  Thought I’d show you two of them because the one on the right is the one that works best.  The Tagged for Christmas tag on the left is too high – making it harder to open the package.  To do the tag – Dimensionals are placed just on the bottom so that the flap on the Petite Pocket can just tuck in.  Here’s a side view.
