Throwing Snowballs

This little 4 x 4 tag has Rudolph throwing snowballs.  I stamped the image twice and punch a Window punch between his hands on one image.  Then I layered an embossed circle on a penny and made a spinner.  It slides between his two hands

Supplies
Stamp Set – Color Me Christmas
Card stock – Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White
Stampin Write Markers – Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive
Ink – Pool Party
Etc – Northern Flurry embossing folder, 7/8″ circle punch, Window punch

These spinners are very addicting!  You can find me rolling it back and forth in my office – Hugs, Fran

HO 3

Here’s an easy Flip card with Santa staring as the main guy for the season.  I used the Santa from Color Me Christmas, colored him with Stampin Write Markers and punched him out for the circle center of this Thinlit set.  The HO 3 is from A Banner Christmas.  But the Chevrons are the chevron punch – there are chevrons in the set;  I just wanted to see the difference using the punch.  They are much bigger!

The sentiment is a single stamp that coordinates with the photo cards in the Holiday Mini.  And since I didn’t mention it last time – the chevrons have a piece of Real Red behind them.  (Thanks, Leeca!)

Supplies
Stamp Sets – Color Me Christmas, A Banner Christmas, Be Very Merry
Card stock – Whisper White, Real Red, Silver Glimmer
Ink – Real Red, Jet Black Stazon
Stampin Write Markers – Real Red, Blush Blossom
Etc – Circle Thinlit flip die, 1 3/4 and 1 1/4 punch, Chevron punch, Dazzling Details (on the candy cane!)

Have a great day!  Hugs, Fran

Be Merry Single Stamp

Single Stamps!  This is a new stamp called Be Merry – it’s a tag with holly and goes with the Chalk Talk framelits.  I added it to the front of a card for a team swap.  The holly leaves are colored in and the berries are punched with the Owl Builder punch.

First I stamped the tag on a piece of Whisper White that I had stamped with the Dictionary background stamp.  You can see all the Single Stamps here.

A Banner Christmas

Here’s another Thinlit Label Frame card using A Banner Christmas from the Holiday Mini.  To make the banner “pop” I stamped it first in Old Olive and then again in Cherry Cobbler.  I cut out the Cherry Cobbler pieces omitting the little lines on the sides of the letters.  Layer them on the Old Olive banners – letting the Old Olive lines show.

I finished this off with some Season of Style Washi tape ad a button.

Supplies
Stamp Set – A Banner Christmas
Card stock – Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Season of Style DSP
Ink – Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler
Etc – Thinlit Label Frame die, Season of Style Washi tape, button, linen thread

Hugs, Fran

Color Me Christmas Presents Galore

While I still had Color Me Christmas out on my desk, I thought I’d try something different with the present stamp and the new Thinlit Label die.  (133479)  It didn’t turn out exactly has I saw it in my mind – but you get the idea!  I love the greeting and sentiment from Christmas Messages ( 131790/ 131793).  Using the Stamp a Ma Jig, I stamped presents across the bottom.  Did you know that the label framelit in the Thinlit set works with the Label Framelit set in the big catalog?  It is perfect for layering!

Next time I’ll try to line it up so that I don’t have a half package showing when the card is folded – but for now, this is it

Supplies
Stamp Sets – Color Me Christmas, Christmas Messages
card stock – Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Season of Style DSP
Ink – Jet Black Stazon
Stampin Write Markers – Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive
Etc – Thinlit Label card die, Label Framelits, Scallop Edge punch

Team meeting today and I can’t wait to stamp with friends!  Hugs, Fran

Floating Floor Santa Scene

Oh what fun indeed!  This card is a floating floor card cased from Karen Burniston’s video

The greeting on the front is from Christmas Messages and is layered on a glittered oval with an ornament punch top.  It’s 2 pieces but the glitter paper really makes it look like one piece.

And here’s Santa and Rudolph (Color Me Christmas) decorating trees.  There clothes are paper pieced to give them some extra “umph.”

From the side you can see how the floor looks.

Rudolph’s nose is a pearl colored with a sharpie marker.

Supplies
Stamp Sets – Color Me Christmas, Christmas Messages
Card stock – Whisper White, Silver Glitter, Season of Style DSP, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Old Olive
Ink – Jet Black Stazon, Cherry Cobbler
Stampin Write Markers – Blush Blossom, Real Red, Basic Black
Etc – SU Pop N Cuts base, Sizzix Ribbon Tree insert, star punch, Oval Framelits, ornament punch, pearl, silver ribbon

I hope you’ll try the floating floor – it’s fun!  Hugs, Fran

Goodie, Goodie

There is a cute kit on page 32 of the Holiday Mini (132161) called Real Red Goodie Gear and it’s a good one! The kit contains tags, stickers, banners, cello bags and baker’s twine – fast, easy and very affordable for little gifts or treats.  The colors are Real Red and Bermuda Bay.

I made a sleigh with my Eclips  (Santa’s Villages/ SVGcuts) to hold a few of the treats.  The “Merry” is the Expressions Thinlit (page 36 #132171.) Quick tip – when using the Thinlits, place a piece of waxed paper between the card stock and the die and it easily releases.  Hugs, Fran

Festive Flip

Here’s a new Label Thinlit card using Festive Flurries and Winter Frost Specialty paper to create a card.  I cased this design from one Shelli did on stage – but changed a few things to work with the supplies I had on hand.  The sentiment is Merry Little Christmas embossed in silver.

Something you should know about these Thinlit cards is that they can not handle heavy embellishments in the center of the card.  I originally used a snowflake Frosted Embellishment in the center of the snowflake and it was so heavy the card kept falling over!  Light and east with these

Stamp sets – Merry Little Christmas, Festive Flurry
card stock – Shimmery White, Whisper White, Winter Frost DSP, Silver Glimmer
Ink – Versamark, Coastal Cabana
Etc – Thinlits Label die, silver embossing powder, Northern Flurry embossing folder, rhinestones. Adorning Accents Edgelit, Silver ribbon

Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran

Color Me Christmas Tree

Here’s another card using the Circle Thinlits (133480
) and Color Me Christmas.  This is simple paper piecing.  I stamped the tree on 3 different pieces of Season of Style Designer Series paper (132340) and cut one layer of the tree from each.  Then I just layered them over the image.  I also used Wishing You ( 131748) to add some little packages to the corner.

The Regal Candy Dots fit perfectly on the tree – just follow the image!  Very easy – Very Cute!

Supplies
Stamp Sets – Color Me Christmas, Wishing You
card stock – Old Olive, Whisper White, Season of Style DSP
Ink – Jet Black Stazon, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler
Etc – Circle Thinlit, Regal Candy Dots, Silver ribbon, Season of Style Washi Tape

So I’m showing Christmas cards and it’s hot and humid here today.  Wishful thinking   Hugs, Fran

Snowflakes

Does this look familiar?  I cased myself – I took the front elements from this card and made a “regular” card.

Stamp Sets – Festive Flurry, Christmas Messages
Card stock – Whisper White, Winter Frost DSP, Silver Glimmer
Ink – Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Versamark, Smokey Slate
Etc – Scallop Edge punch, Festive Flurry Framelits, Frosted Finished Embellishments.

The Holiday Mini starts August 1 – and I’m so excited!  Hugs, Fran
p.s. Anyone have an idea on getting my sleep back on track after traveling?
