Aren’t they fun? The Honeycomb Embellishments (page 9 Occasions Mini) gives such a nice touch to every project. They don’t flatten – so you might want to skip mailing them – but they are just fun!
I used them for tags on some Gift Bag Punch Board bags. To use the Honeycomb Embellishments, peel off half the backing, attach to your project, and then remove the other half. Hugs, Fran
And last but not least, my Halloween version of this bag! I used the Witch’s Night stamp set and Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper. The image and matting were cut with the Lots of Labels Framelit die. This one is my favorite 🙂 Hugs, Fran
Continuing on from yesterday! This gift bag uses the new Cup of Cheer stamp set and the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper. The image was inked with Stampin Write Markers.
And this one got a big “thumbs down” from my youngest – the critic! Ha! But here it is, in case it inspires you to do something else! Hugs, Fran
I saw this little bag on Too Cool Stamping – who got it from Dannie Graves! This is what makes the stamping world go ’round! This uses Acorny Thank You from the Holiday mini – cute – and the Gift Bag Punch Board.
It’s a two piece gift bag.
Cute! Tomorrow I’ll show you where I went with this little gem 🙂 Hugs, Fran
Here’s another Gift Bag Punch board idea using Floral Wings (hostess set.) I used a 12 x 12 piece of Crumb Cake and created a bag as shown on the punch board. Before I folded the score lines (while it’s still flat) I stamped some little flowers long the bottom of the bag in Crumb Cake ink. Then I added a Rich Razzleberry banner, a butterfly in Lost Lagoon and Rich Razzleberry and a little sentiment banner. The closure for the bag was punched before the entire bag was put together. I measured down and marked the sides on each fold line and punched it using a 3/4″ punch. Then just wrap the Lost Lagoon ribbon around it and tie into a bow. Add some pearls and a piece of Baker’s Twine for antenna. It’s nice to have some gift bags ready to fill when needed. Hugs, Fran
A Banner Banter Bag 🙂 Made with the Irresistible Designer Series paper, sponged in Bermuda Bay and made with the Gift Bag Punch Board. The flower in the center is the new Cotton paper – 10 layers – cut with the Floral Frames Collection. This is super simple to do because the layers can all be cut at one time. Then you just need to stagger the layers and staple them (twice – make an x) in the middle and pull them up one layer at a time. Kind of scrunch them as you go and you will have a beautiful flower to attach to your bag. The little tag is Banner Banter stamped on a piece punched with the flag punch. Fill and give! Hugs, Fran
One more Gift Bag Punch Board bag – a shaker bag. I used the Deco Label Framelits to make the opening. Take 2 piece of acetate (a window sheet or packaging work too), use tape around the edges to make a pouch and fill it with stars and confetti. Attach it to the back of the opening. Stamp the ballon and adhere it to the front and add a sentiment. You could use lots of different framelits! Hope you have a great weekend! Hugs, Fran
Here’s another Gift Bag Punch Board bag made with a 12 x 12 piece of Designer Series paper (this one’s retired – but any paper will work!) I cut a long strip of Whisper 3 1/2 x 11 and stamped the Celebrate from Fabulous Four, masking off the the small words underneath except for the last one, In Mint Macaron. Flag the end and attach it to the top of the bag. Cut a butterfly out of Perfect Plum and add some rhinestones to the body. Add a few flags at the top of the banner and tie it off with the super soft Mint Macaron ribbon. Love this color combo – Mint Macaron, Perfect Plum, Kraft and Whisper White. Hugs, Fran
Here’s a Build a Birthday gift bag made with the Irresistible Specialty paper. There is new Color Me Irresistible paper in the new catalog. To to do this bag, I cut my paper 6 x 12 and covered the entire piece with painters tape. Brayer or sponge on the color on the first area of paper and remove the next piece of tape. Wipe off the paper to get the embossed white to show through. Use the tape to cover the area you just did and brayer on more color. You will need to gently wipe off the ink from the tape too. I chose the colors in the Cherry on Top DSP – Cucumber Crush, Bermuda Bay, Watermelon Wonder. Pool Party and Crushed Curry. Then I used the Gift Bag Punch Board to finish the bag. It’s a fun look for a small effort – perfect! Hugs, Fran
