This is the new Hanging Charm Pull Card from Karen Burniston using the Props 6 cowboy boots and hats.
The mechanism pulls up to reveal the sentiment. You can put this on a postcard style card and write your message on the back or put it on a regular card and have it open up. The front background is done with the paisley stencil and stencil paste on patterned paper. Hugs, Fran
Since I’ve turned 29 every year for quite a few years – this card is perfect! Baker Beaver and the Cake Pop Stand are a new dies for the Karen Burniston Pop It Ups dies. Isn’t he cute? Don’t you love the spatula? That’s from the new Props 8. It’s a full set of baking props. For the cake, I used just the largest cake layering piece and cut it down by 1/8″ for each layer. I’ve paired him with Stampin Up’s new Number of Years stamp set. The sentiment “Look who’s turning” fits exactly on Karen’s new Pull Card Edges. Baker and his cake are on an action wobble. The paper is the very fun It’s My Party Designer Series Paper Stack from the Occasions Mini and the balloons are the new Balloon Bouquet Punch.

There’s a new cake in town 🙂 A Pop It Ups Cake from Karen Burniston! This sweet die (coming soon) creates a cake that pops out of your card for a special birthday wish. And it’s so easy to use! Here I’ve paired it with Stampin UP’s Remembering Your Birthday.

You’re Sublime is a cute little stamp set that is perfect for coloring. I made a set of 3 x 3 cards for Valentine’s Day, colored with Copic markers, and then another that I left blank for a little friend of mine to color with her colored pencils. The frog is Cucumber Crush.

This is Beautiful Ride ( Occasions catalog page 15) It has this cute car and lots of fun images that go on, in or on top of it! I used Island Indigo and Pool Party card stocks. The car is stamped on the Pool Party and colored by lightly using a Blender pen and Pool Party ink. Hugs, Fran
I cased this pretty card from page 37 of the Occasions catalog – and changed the main image to the star fish. This is made on a notecard and uses the Striped Scallop Thinlit on the background. The splatter is made using Soft Suede Ink and an aqua painter. Simply pick up ink on your aqua painter and tap it against your bone folder to create the splatter look. This is Rose Wonder from the Occasions Mini (page 18) and it comes as a bundle with a beautiful die set. The sentiments in this set are lovely! I used just the stamps on this card, embossed in black for the rose on Shimmery White card stock. This technique is done by filling each section with water from my aqua painter and dropping Rose Red and Blushing Bride into each section.
As the inks dry, it leaves a pretty coloring. The rose is large and I left the card fairly plain. Hugs, Fran
Botanical Blooms is a beautiful stamp set in the upcoming mini catalog AND it has a matching die set! Here I used just the stamps to make this birthday card. The colors are Hello Honey, Mint Maccaron and Mossy Meadow. It’s a fast card and would be easy to make lots of them at the same time. The Occasions catalog starts on the 5th! Hugs, Fran
It is true that the older I get, the faster the years fly by! This has been a fun year – full of Stampin Up, Pop It Ups, Copics, 3-D and lots and lots (and lots) of paper. Thought I’d share a few favorites from 2015 and get ready for 2016. The card above was a favorite Pop It Ups. Love the animals – love creating scenes. Love what’s coming 🙂
I’ve had fun with my Copic markers. The image above is form 2CuteInk. I’ve traveled to classes, work online over at Kit and Clowder, and just really enjoy the “coloring craze!”
Then there’s 3-D with the Creative Circle. These have been lots of fun and there’s more to look forward to in 2016.
And FRIENDS! That is what has made this year the best! All the people who play with me in my classroom and all the people I play with online. That’s the best of 2015.

Everyone is coming for Christmas! Today my card features all the farm critters (plus Jolly) in true Home for Christmas style. This 6 x 6 card is big – but so’s the family 🙂
Brownie is sporting a Santa-stash and glasses. Cheeper is holding a candy cane. And Jolly is bringing a present of cheese. To attach the characters, the bottom layer (Brownie) is flat on the card. The next layer is (Cheepers) is attached to Brownie. And then Jolly is up on pop dots. This gives it looks of dimension without being crazy.
William is helping with the garland and Snowball is wearing his Santa hat. All the presents are popped up. The sentiment is from Project Life by Stampin Up Seasonal Snapshot 2015.
Inside, Cocoa the Horse is already home! The garland – which is pieces from the wreath in the Sleigh Gift Card die set – surrounds the Agatha Edge at the top.
The barn is decorated! The little candle is the chimney from the House die. The sentiment is Stampin Up’s Cozy Christmas!
