Sail Away Sneak Peek

Here’s another sneak peek at an A La Carte stamp in the upcoming Summer Mini.  It’s called Sail Away and is a beautiful sailboat.  Isn’t this perfect for scrapbooking and those hard to come up with masculine cards?

I stamped the sailboat twice – once on Crumb Cake and once on Whisper White.  The Crumb Cake image is die cut with the 4″ Circle die (great because it’s clear and you can center your image.)  On the Whisper White image I cut out the sail.  The background is stamped with an image from another upcoming set, On the Sea.  And the sentiment is upcoming too (it was a BIG box of goodies!) called Best Dad Ever.  That’s a little piece of the new Baker’s Twine at the top sail.  You’ll see lots more of it later on, I promise!  Here’s a close up of the layered sail.

Supplies
Stamp sets – Sail Away, Best Dad Ever, On the Sea
card stock – Cherry Cobbler, Not Quite Navy, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Early Espresso
Ink – Early Espresso, Not Quite Navy
Etc – 4″ circle die, Scallop Edge punch, Small Oval punch, Vintage brad, Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine, sponge

It’s my birthday week and I’m still celebrating with you!  I’m going to give away a stamp set every day that has something to do with birthdays! All you have to do is leave a comment  for a chance to win.  (You can even just pop in and say “hi!”) On Saturday morning I’ll pull a random comment for each day and announce the winners.  The stamp set for this day is Birthday Bliss –

Enjoy!  Hugs, Fran
