Tiny Trees

Tiny Tree 01

One of the Creative Crew challenges on Splitcoast this month is Holiday Focus – and I chose Christmas decorating.  This little tree is made by tearing Typeset Designer Series paper into squares – starting at 2 1/2″ and working in 3’s down to 1 1/4″ – and poking them onto a bamboo skewer with chipboard square between each piece.  After they were all on the skewer, I sprayed the tree with spray adhesive and covered it with glitter.  Put a styrofoam ball in the bottom of a small container and stick the skewer into the ball.  I used shred to cover the top of the bucket.  Punch 2 little stars out of Glimmer paper and hot glue them to the top of skewer.  You can make an entire forest of these little gems to decorate your home!  Play along by using the key word CCREW1114HF CreativeCrew SUO!

There was a light sprinkling of snow yesterday so I guess the holidays really are just right around the corner!  Hugs, Fran

PL Seasonal Snapshots 01

It’s a new month (can you believe it?) and that means new challenges for the Creative Crew at Splitcoast Stampers.  For the Project Life challenge, I made a 12 x 12 Thanksgiving page using the Seasonal Snapshots cards.  The traditional family photo will go in the upper right hand corner block and I can journal to my heart’s content in the journaling block.  You can play along by using the key word CCREW1114FS CreativeCrew SUO.
