Here’s my Holiday catalog case of Embellished Ornaments. I used Mossy Meadow and Red Foil to make the ornaments – and the new Precision Base Plate. Wow! It’s amazing! Just a forward and back pass through my Big Shot and all those tiny pieces in the ornament die cut clean. The bottom piece on the card is the new Holidays Fancy Foil Vellum. Hint – it’s thin. Be careful to only have one sheet in your hand when you cut it!
Crafting today will be at a minimum so I can clean out the garage for our upcoming Rubber Stamp Garage Sale! Once a year my garage gets a good cleaning 🙂 Hugs, Fran
Coming soon – New friends on the farm! Farm 2 Collection has 6 new dies and a clear stamp set. Hanging out on my 4 x 9 card, meet Cocoa the Horse and Snowball the Sheep! They are getting the Barn decorated with Cheepers the Chicken, Brownie the Cow and Virgil the Pig. Cute banner made with Stampin Up’s Flag punch!
And inside – William the Goat (decidedly NOT helping!) He’s in the new Pop It Ups Fence Pop Stand!
This is such a fun collection – on it’s own or in addition to the Farm 1 Collections 🙂 Sneak Peeks of all the new dies are on Karen’s blog today! Hugs, Fran
Cuteness case from Carrie Cudney! (Say that three times fast!) These notecard sized cards not only show off the beautiful new In Colors, but also a wonderful new stamp set called You’ve Got This. This is going to be a favorite of mine – simple and pretty. Little bits of In Color ribbon and some Baker’s Twine finish off the cards and don’t forget the matching envelopes made with the new Envelope paper! Sweet! Hugs, Fran
Sneak peek – I Think You’re Great! This card shows off some of the new 2015-2017 In Colors and a new stamp set. Carrie Cudney from SU’s home office made a sample that inspired me, though I changed it to use the new Cherry on Top Designer Series paper. The colors from top to bottom are Crushed Curry, Cucumber Crush, Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Watermelon Wonder. This set is made for the “kissing” technique but my ink pads are way to juicy at the moment! Once I use up some of the ink, I’ll try again. But in the meantime, this will go out as a graduation card.
Don’t forget about the Weekly Deals for this week –
One more Sprinkles of Life – a cupcake! This shows the Designer Series paper – Cherry on Top. It’s a great 6 x 6 paper stack (Bermuda Bay, Cucumber Crush, Crushed Curry, Pool Party, Tip Top Taupe, Watermelon Wonder, Whisper White.) The cupcake is on the smallest Deco Framelit and the banner underneath is made with the new Triple Banner punch! Don’t you just love the colors in this DSP? Happy Mothers Day to all the women out there making a difference in a child’s life. Hugs, Fran
More Sprinkles of Life and it’s matching punch! This time I used it as an ice cream cone on a notecard. The front layer is a piece of the SAB paper, Irresistibly Yours. I brayered over it with Blushing Bride and then punched a 2 inch circle from the side. The cone is Soft Suede on Crumb Cake and the ice cream is Soft Suede, Blushing Bride and Whisper White. I added some Dazzling Details to the highlights. June 2nd can’t come soon enough! Hugs, Fran
Sprinkles of Life is the new Ronald McDonald House stamp set – and it has a matching punch! For every set purchased, Stampin Up will donate $3 to RMHC. This shaker card is a case of one Sara Douglas did for a Stampin Up event. I used the Adventure Bound Designer Series paper (from the current mini catalog) and the Sprinkle of Life set to create a shaker card.
I added some glitter – a bit too much! It looks like it snowed at the orchard 🙂 You are going to LOVE this set! It will make trees, baskets, ice cream cones, cupcakes – lots and lots of uses! Hugs, Fran
This beautiful set is called Indescribable Gift. I stamped the flower twice and colored the background and flower using Blendabilities. The ribbon goes through a slit in the front, cut with a craft knife.
Then I fussy cut the flowers and popped them up and added some Dazzling Details.
Time for a sneak peek! This is From the Herd – a set coming out in the Occasions Mini starting January 6th! (Can you believe we’re talking about a new year?) This fun set has a main image and lots of cute, cute sayings. I chose to make a window card with the Oval Framelits so the animals could peek through. The Crumb Cake card stock was stamped with the Hardwood background stamp. I used a ruler to draw lines and add “nails.”
Since the image is large, I added the inside greeting to the opposite side of the front greeting. The animals were colored with Blendabilities – there are new colors in the catalog!!
Aren’t they funny? This will be a fun set! Hugs, Fran
Silve and Gold! This card has embossed stars in silver and gold over silver dot vellum. The base is Brushed Silver card stock. I stamped the sentiment on the vellum in gold and heat embossed and then added the “Christmas and New Year” on Whisper White in silver. The little star clip and rhinestones finished it off.
Stamp Set – Bright & Beautiful (Holiday Mini)
Card stock – Whisper White, Brushed Silver, Fancy Foil Designer Vellum
Ink – Versamark
Etc – Star Framelits, Basic Hodgepodge Clips, rhinestones, gold and silver embossing powder
Though it looks like a lot of work, the framelits make this card very easy to do. You can get this stamp set and framelit bundle now – as a sneak peek – with the Big Shot and Bundles Promotion! Hugs, Fran
