Valentine’s Day is almost here and I’m getting out a few more cards. This one uses the Meant To Be bundle from the Occasions catalog and a Concord & 9th Mosaic Turnabout Stamp. I die cut the heart from Pool Party card stock and traced around it on the white base – and die cut that. Then I cut 2 pieces of acetate and sandwiched some sequins between them, put it between the 2 layers and added the scallop trim to finish it off.
So now you can see the sequins on both sides! Hugs, Fran
Here’s a quick Valentine for you to make using Vertical Greeting. Simply use you markers to color directly to the heart topiary and stamp on whisper white card stock. The card base is a notecard that is 3 1/2 x 5. I added some little hearts to the top and around the front and stamped the greeting in Real Red. Tie it off with some red Baker’s Twine and you have a sweet card! Hugs, Fran
Graceful Garden has this beautiful sentiment – I Adore You – that is perfect for Valentines Day or any card that expresses love. I paired is up with Berry Burst and Rich Razzleberry to make a Valentines card. The sets I used are Sure Do Love You and Heart Happiness with dies from Sweet & Sassy hearts and the Lots to Love Framelits. Cut and inch from one side of your card base and stack your hearts along the edge. I also added some cute Metallic Enamel Shape hearts.

We are going to need Valentines very soon! This one is made with the Sure Do Love You stamp set and the Lots of Love Box Framelits that match. The Designer Series paper is Painted with Love and the bottom scallop is from the Colorful Seasons dies. All of the hearts are popped up with 3 card stock hearts underneath them. The first heart has a Calypso Coral bow tied with the Calypso Coral Shimmer Ribbon that is free during Saleabration. The entire thing is finished off with a skinny strip of Gold Foil. Hugs, Fran
Are you thinking “Valentines” yet? The Sure Do Love You set in the Occasions catalog is perfect for making some quick, but pretty, Valentines. I paired the set with the Painted with Love Specialty paper to make this card. The base is Melon Mambo ( 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2 for a top fold card.) The front is Powder Pink and the Painted with Love paper. The little layered squared is Powder Pink and Calypso Coral, die with the Layering Squares framelits. The ribbon is from Saleabration! Something different to show you today – a Fairy Cottage. The cutting file is from SVGCuts and is made using all kinds of patterned paper and lots of little succulents, toadstools and flower. I made this for my soon to be daughter in law for Valentines Day.
The back is open so you can insert lights and the top of the tree house comes off for more lights,

I needed a funny Valentine for someone special so I decided to use the crazy chicken in Hey Chick (Salebration) to peek out and send my love. (You can click on the picture to make it larger ) This is a 3 1/2 x 8 1/2 card with the “love” part done as a shaker. I arranged the letters with a heart from Sweet & Sassy framelits and cut them out of Real Red. The chicken is stamped on the backing of the shaker and a few hearts are attached to the top of the transparency. The letters are filled with sequins. Then I used the left over letters to make this card –

More treats! While I still had my embossing paste out from yesterday’s project, I decided to try to use it on some of these little glassine bags. You have to work quickly on glassine so the paste doesn’t spread. I was still using the Hearts mask and was able to do two bags at a time. Once it was dry, I added a red Glimmer paper “love” and tied it off with some pretty red ribbon. Filled with treats, they look pretty! Hugs, Fran
This is a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card full of LOVE. Using the Largest Letters Framelits, I cut them out of the Real Red strip and then replaced them with white letters stamped with the line of hearts from Sealed with Love. The “In the Air” is embossed with white embossing powder. The heart border is made using the Love Notes Framelit dies. I cut a sliver of silver Glimmer paper to run through the middle of the hearts. Valentines Day? Yep! This card is made with the new Hexagon Dynamic Textured embossing folder and the “love” from Sunshine Wishes framelits. The heart was was cut from the Sweet & Sassy Framelits in Glimmer paper. I sponged on ink – Real Red, Melon Mambo and Pink Pirouette onto water color paper and then embossed it. The love was cut from Black card stock and then fun foam, layered together and covered in Glossy Accents. Very simple. Hugs, Fran
