This simple card is made with Jar of Love and the candy hearts in the Sure Do Love You set. I made some masks for the hearts and just masked them as I filled the jar. I used the matching Framelits to cut out the jar and tied it off with some Baker’s Twine. The colors are Flirty Flamingo, Powder Pink and Pool Party. You could easily make these as tiny cards. Hugs, Fran

Hedgehugs
Hedgehog love! This card uses Hedgehugs in the Occasions catalog. I used an old heart stencil and the new embossing paste on the card base. The tops of the mushroom were stamped in gray and then again in Real Red and fussy cut. The hedgehogs were stamped in Soft Suede and then the color was pulled from the image with a blender pen and fussy cut. I added a heart with the sentiment and some extra hearts to finish it off. Hugs, Fran
A Little Bit of Love
This 3 x 3 shaker note is perfect to tuck in a package for your Valentine. I started with a 3 x 6 piece of Real Red, scored at 3″ to make a little note card. I already had the negative of a square, cut from another project so I trimmed it down to 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 and put a piece of acetate on the back. Using the foam strips, I made a box on the back and filled it with little shaker bits and some heart from the Confetti Hearts punch. After adhering a piece of white card stock to seal it up, I die cut a Red Glimmer Love to the front and a white embossed You from Crazy About You. Hugs, Fran
Valentine Gift Card Holders
Valentine’s Day is almost here and I have a gift card holder to share with you. (Because what says “I love you” more than a Venti White Mocha?) This starts with a 4 1/2 x 8 1/2 piece of Real Red scored at 4 1/2, 5 1/2 and 6 1/2. Put some strong adhesive right on the inside of the score lines and die cut, punch or simply cut the top of the sealed area. This makes a space for your gift card. Decorate the inside and out of your holder and wrap with a belly band.
My belly band is 1″ wide and is decorated with Sending Love Designer Series paper. The heart is punched from Red Glimmer paper and the Love is die cut from Sunshine Wishes Thinlits.
I made some 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 envelopes using the envelope punch board to hold these and they fit perfectly! Hugs, Fran
Valentine Tiles
I made a little pouch to hold a gift card and decorated it like a Scrabble board. You could use this idea on a card, box – just about anything that you can draw squares on. My squares are 3/4 x 3/4 – not an exact fit, but it worked. I glued the tiles to the card stock. The little hearts are from the Confetti Hearts punch and covered in Crystal Effects.
The flap closes with tiny magnets. Hugs, Fran
Embossed Love Treat Bag
Here’s another “find” during my cleaning spree – the Hearts Decorative Mask on a petite cafe bag. I did this one with embossing paste which turned out to be a bit harder than I thought since the bag does not lay flat. But I carried on! When it was dry I added the die cut word “love” stacking four of them together to give it some lift. Then I coated it with Crystal Effects for shine. I also added some small hearts from the Confetti Hearts Border punch. Hugs, Fran
Valentine Treat Boxes
These little treat boxes hold Tootsie Roll Lollipops and are super quick and easy to make. They really are wraps for the candy.
To make the wrappers cut a piece of Real Red to 2 1/4 x 7 1/2. Score the 7 1/2 side at 2 1/2, 4 and 6 1/2. Attach a 2 x 2 1/4 piece of the Sending Love DSP to the end of the Real Red paper and adhere the flap end over to close the wrapper. Use a hole punch to add a hold for the sucker and then add a 2 x 3/4 stamped piece (or you could use more patterned paper) to the flap. Insert you sucker and tie the top with a Real Red Sending Love ribbon bow. Add a heart from the Love Notes Framelit die and embellish with a rhinestone. I added a bit of glue under the rhinestone just to make sure it stays put. Hugs, Fran
Valentine Sampler
Valentine Monster
Monster hugs! This little monster from Yummy in My Tummy is holding a string of Valentines and is on an action wobbler (like this monster) to greet you. The sentiment is from Falling for You. It’s hard to see, but background is the Falling Petals embossing folder. Hugs, Fran
Sealed with Love
Valentines! Yes, it’s time to start thinking about them. Using the new Sealed with Love, I created a special Valentine. On the front I used the new Sending Love Designer Series paper, Sealed with Love stamp set and the Sweet & Sassy heart dies. The heart behind the sentiment is cut from Glimmer paper.
Inside I made a heart pop up! Following Karen Burniston’s directions for a Twist Circle Panel Card, I changed the panel to hearts. All you need is 4 hearts that are approximately 3 inches tall. I adhered them together so they measure 9″ long and scored at the same measurements in the video. The “i love” was die cut from Sunshine Wishes and the “you” is from Hello You thinlits. The glimmer hearts are from my stash. I hope you’ll try it! Hugs, Fran
