This is Beautiful Ride ( Occasions catalog page 15) It has this cute car and lots of fun images that go on, in or on top of it! I used Island Indigo and Pool Party card stocks. The car is stamped on the Pool Party and colored by lightly using a Blender pen and Pool Party ink. Hugs, Fran

Playful Pals
and the Evil Frog :)! These are made with the new Pyramid Pals Thinly die and Playful Pals stamp set. (Occasions catalog pages 44-45) First of all – use the large smile for the frog! The small smile makes him look quite demonic. These boxes are small and very cute! There are lots of combos to make just about any animal you can imagine.
Hugs, Fran
Picture Perfect
I cased this pretty card from page 37 of the Occasions catalog – and changed the main image to the star fish. This is made on a notecard and uses the Striped Scallop Thinlit on the background. The splatter is made using Soft Suede Ink and an aqua painter. Simply pick up ink on your aqua painter and tap it against your bone folder to create the splatter look. These notecards make perfect gifts too! Hugs, Fran
Rose Wonder
This is Rose Wonder from the Occasions Mini (page 18) and it comes as a bundle with a beautiful die set. The sentiments in this set are lovely! I used just the stamps on this card, embossed in black for the rose on Shimmery White card stock. This technique is done by filling each section with water from my aqua painter and dropping Rose Red and Blushing Bride into each section.
As the inks dry, it leaves a pretty coloring. The rose is large and I left the card fairly plain. Hugs, Fran
Creative Circle January You’ve Got Mail and Give Away
This month’s Creative Circle Challenge is You’ve Got Mail – a darling mailbox perfect for Valentine’s Day. Here’s my first mailbox!
My card holding mailbox is made from Melon Mambo card stock and the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack. The lid and flap are done with stencil paste and the Hearts and Stars Decorative Mask.
My cards that fit inside the mailbox are made with No Bones About It. The mailbox easily holds (3) 3 x 3 cards and (3) 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 cards.
These cards were inspired by an “x-ray” card I saw on Splitcoast by Janet Holmes. I thought the idea was so cute!
The little 3 x 3’s fit through the opening under the flap.
Then I switched gears and made a mailbox without the card dividers inside and a window sheet over the opening to hold candy.
For this one, I used Sweet Lil’ Things Designer Series paper and the sentiment from the Occasions Mini set – Greatest Greetings. I punched hearts from every punch I could dig up in my craft room! They are glittered with Dazzling Details.
So now you can choose – cards or treats – or mix it up a bit and do both!

Measure It
This card is my version of the one shown on page 10 of the Occasion Mini using Number of Years. I thought I’d share how I made it so you can use my measurements.
Start with a 2 1/2 x 3 3/4 piece of Whisper White.
Stamp the Happy Birthday in Archival Black towards the bottom.
Stamp the stem above it in Mossy Meadow. Line up the flowers and stamp in Blushing Bride, Rose Red and Pool Party. (The sample in the catalog might very well be Mint Maccaron – but I used Pool Party)
Stamp the grassy/swipe image in Old Olive only inking up one time so it fades out towards the bottom.
Flip this piece over and attach some Old Olive Bakers Twine to the back. Adhere to a Whisper White notecard using Dimensionals
Use the fine tip glue pen to adhere 3 sequins to the front of the card.
Let me know if you make it 🙂 Hugs, Fran
Botanical Blooms
Botanical Blooms is a beautiful stamp set in the upcoming mini catalog AND it has a matching die set! Here I used just the stamps to make this birthday card. The colors are Hello Honey, Mint Maccaron and Mossy Meadow. It’s a fast card and would be easy to make lots of them at the same time. The Occasions catalog starts on the 5th! Hugs, Fran
Birthday Blooms
Birthday Blooms and Timeless Textures – both in the upcoming mini catalog – are so pretty together! I used Smokey Slate, Basic Gray and Archival Black to create the background. The flower was stamped in Stazon on watercolor paper and watercolored with an aquapainter and ink pads in Blushing Bride and Garden Green. After it dried, I used my Wink Of Stella clear to sparkle the entire flower. I got carried away and added Dazzling Details in the center of the flower and around the highlights 🙂 These stamps will be available on the 5th! Hugs, Fran
Happy New Year
Happy 2016! Let’s start the New Year with a Sale a bration card. This is Hello and it’s available free with a $50 purchase from January 5 – February 15. The little flowers are from another SAB set called Botanicals For You. It’s available from January 5 – March 31. Check those dates! There are some products available for a limited time during the limited time sale! I wanted to do a multi-colored Hello, but didn’t have a multicolored pad. So I inked the stamp up with Lost Lagoon and then used a sponge to sponge on Blackberry Bliss from one side, letting it blend as it reached half way. The colors are taken from another free SAB product, Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper. Lots of freebies going on here!
Best wishes for the New Year! Hugs, Fran
Goodbye 2015
It is true that the older I get, the faster the years fly by! This has been a fun year – full of Stampin Up, Pop It Ups, Copics, 3-D and lots and lots (and lots) of paper. Thought I’d share a few favorites from 2015 and get ready for 2016. The card above was a favorite Pop It Ups. Love the animals – love creating scenes. Love what’s coming 🙂
I’ve had fun with my Copic markers. The image above is form 2CuteInk. I’ve traveled to classes, work online over at Kit and Clowder, and just really enjoy the “coloring craze!”
Then there’s 3-D with the Creative Circle. These have been lots of fun and there’s more to look forward to in 2016.
And FRIENDS! That is what has made this year the best! All the people who play with me in my classroom and all the people I play with online. That’s the best of 2015.
So looking forward to 2016. SAB starts soon – the best fun of Stampin UP!
Wishing you the best of times in the New Year! Hugs, Fran
