This is one of my favorite sets in the Occasions Mini catalog – Suite Sayings. It’s all sentiments and greetings and they are really nice AND pretty fonts. For this catalog case, I stamped the sentiment and die cut it using Lots of Labels Framelits. I die cut 2 leaves using the Botanicals Builder Framelits dies and stamped them with the matching Botanical Blooms stamp set. The color in the center of the tag is done with a sponge dauber, Hello Honey and Cajun Craze ink. Hugs, Fran

A Coffee Gift Card holder card!
This is the front and….
This is the inside.
To make the inside of this card-
- Cut a piece of turquoise card stock 4 1/4 x 11″ and fold in the middle.
- Cut a piece of turquoise patterned paper 4 x 10 3/8 and fold in the middle. Align the Sleigh Gift Card holder mechanism in the middle of the score line and run through your die cutting machine.
- Cut the cup out of pink card stock and the steam out of vellum. Layer a 3/8 strip of white onto a 1/2 strip of black card stock. The length doesn’t matter as long as it is longer than the cup is wide. Die cut it from the cup where you want the band to be.
- Die cut 5 flowers from the All Season Tree in turquoise and adhere to the cup band. Attach small pearls to the center of the flowers and attach to the cup. Adhere the cup to the Pop Up.
- Cut the edges of 2 pieces 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 of white card stock with the Paris Edges die. This will give you plenty of room to place the white pieces on your card (see photo.) Trim off the excess. Stamp the small cup from the Coffee & Tea Clear stamp set on the bottom edge of your card.
For the front of the card –
- Use the new Paisley stencil over a 4 x 5 1/4″ piece of turquoise patterned paper and let dry.
- Cut the Paris edge the same way as you did for the inside and adhere to the front.
- Stamp the little cups the same way as you did for the inside.
- Cut a 2 x 4 1/2″ piece of white card stock and add a 2 1/2 piece of turquoise patterned paper to the bottom. Wrap a pink ribbon around the paper. Stamp the images from the Coffee & Tea Clear stamp set as shown. Punch a hole in the top and add ribbon. Attach to the front using pop dots.
Enjoy! Hugs, Fran
Karen Burniston Design Challenge Day 1
It’s Day 1 for the Karen Burniston Design Team – and it’s Anything New! For this card I choses the new Oval Pull Card die and the new Hot Air Ballon die. The card size is 5 1/2 x 7 and uses Stampin Up’s Bloomin’ Love stamp set and Love Blossoms Designer Series paper.
I also used the new Pull Card Edges. Wow do these dies make decorating your card easy! The mechanism that makes this card move can be placed wherever you choose to put it. As you pull the card open, the Hot Air Balloon moves – cute! All the Design Team cards will be on Karen’s blog this month! Hugs, Fran
29 Again
Since I’ve turned 29 every year for quite a few years – this card is perfect! Baker Beaver and the Cake Pop Stand are a new dies for the Karen Burniston Pop It Ups dies. Isn’t he cute? Don’t you love the spatula? That’s from the new Props 8. It’s a full set of baking props. For the cake, I used just the largest cake layering piece and cut it down by 1/8″ for each layer. I’ve paired him with Stampin Up’s new Number of Years stamp set. The sentiment “Look who’s turning” fits exactly on Karen’s new Pull Card Edges. Baker and his cake are on an action wobble. The paper is the very fun It’s My Party Designer Series Paper Stack from the Occasions Mini and the balloons are the new Balloon Bouquet Punch.
Here’s the inside –
Now we can celebrate 29 every year! Hugs, Fran

You’re Sublime
You’re Sublime is a cute little stamp set that is perfect for coloring. I made a set of 3 x 3 cards for Valentine’s Day, colored with Copic markers, and then another that I left blank for a little friend of mine to color with her colored pencils. The frog is Cucumber Crush.
Calypso Coral Crab
Pacific Point
Daffodil Delight (because it must be a yellow submarine – right?)

Those Cute Little Honeycomb Things
Aren’t they fun? The Honeycomb Embellishments (page 9 Occasions Mini) gives such a nice touch to every project. They don’t flatten – so you might want to skip mailing them – but they are just fun!
I used them for tags on some Gift Bag Punch Board bags. To use the Honeycomb Embellishments, peel off half the backing, attach to your project, and then remove the other half. Hugs, Fran
Enjoy the Little Things
Enjoy the Little Things is from the Occasions Mini (page 33) as a stamp to accompany a Project Kit. I used the set to make the cute tag from a Baker’s Box Thinlit box. Using Blushing Bride and the Dots and Stripes stencil, I used stencil paste to make the design. Just a small change from the catalog example – with a big punch. Hugs, Fran
