I’m still adding splatters and bling 🙂 This Crafting Forever card is colored with the watercolor pencils on watercolor paper. Since I was messing around with this set, I decided to try it on wc paper – and it was fun! The pencils are easy to use with an aqua painter though I still let the bling get out of control! Hugs, Fran

Create Every Day – second try
Sorry if this didn’t show up for you today. I’m not sure what the problem is but I’m working on it! Here’s another Crafting Forever idea that’s similar to this one, except I got a bit more carried away with the sequins and hearts! The pens in the set are easy to mask off and use one at a time. I colored mine with Copics, drew and wiggly line and went crazy with the bling. The paper is the retired Pop of Pink on a Melon Mambo card but you could use any combo for this. Hugs, Fran

Paper Pros June Challenge – Masculine Cards
(ETA – I goofed! This was for this Tuesday – not last Tuesday! I’m a week ahead!) Just in time for Father’s Day, the Paper Pros are sharing masculine cards. I started with Guy Greetings (my “go to masculine” stamp set) and some retired paper. I colored just the pants on the strong man and accented the word Father with a hand drawn line. But the fun is in the inside 🙂
On the inside I used the new Karen Burniston Twist Panel Pop Up card. These style of cards are SO much fun, and the new die takes all the guess work and measuring out of the equation! Just die cut and go! I added a little message strip on the left side by just folding a strip of vanilla card stock and tucking it in the fold. The banner die across the top comes with the set – so easy! Have fun checking out all the other ideas from the Paper Pros! Hugs, Fran

Cut Up
A little masking created this card. Crafting Forever is such a fun set! I drew a line with a pencil and masked off the area where the bottom blade touched the line and stamped the scissors. Then I drew the box with a Melon Mambo marker. Add some hearts and sequins and here’s a fun card. Of course, this is the time of year when I suddenly realize that some of my favorite things have retired – like the heart border punch. But any kind of sequins or embellishments would work here. Hugs, Fran
Playful Piggy
CAS Piggies
This Little Piggy is clean and simple! Since I had all the supplies out from yesterday’s card, I thought I do a few more. Using the same color combo of Powder Pink and Black I did this card and………
this card. I might go back and bling them up a bit – but for now they remain clean and simple! Hugs, Fran
This Little Piggy
This Little Piggy is my current favorite set in the new Annual Catalog! They are just so cute! I started this card with Playful Background and the Diagonal Stripes background stamps. The colors are the new In Color, Powder Pink, and Black. The die used is Karen Burniston’s new Katherine Label Pop Up (1011). It has some pretty labels that I used to make a frame around the opening. The label the pig is on is embossed with a cloud embossing folder.
As you open the card the main label twists to the inside. Here you can kind of see the Crystal Effects on the “bubble” part of the Playful Backgrounds stamp. I can’t use this stamp without Crystal Effects! You can also see how I used a black marker to go around the edge of the Diagonal Stripes label to make it pop.
On the inside I used the new cloud stencil and embossing paste and another label die cut. Doesn’t this little piggy look happy flying in the clouds? The inside sentiment is stamped in Versamark on a black strip and heat embossed. It’s attached on a piece of window sheet so it moves with the pig. The mechanism on this die is super simple!
Here you can see how it works – it really makes my pig fly 🙂 I did a whole group of cards using this stamp in these colors that I’ll continue to share! Hugs, Fran
Lemon Lime Twist
Daisy Delight 3-D
The new Daisy Delight bundle gives you the ability to create not only cards and scrapbooks, but 3-D items as well. I used the stamp and matching punch to make little flower arrangements for the gals who attended our May Team Meeting, The leaves are done with the Vintage leaves set with matching die and the little box is from Karen Burniston’s Flower Pot Pop Up. I used wire to make the flower stems and tooth picks to make the leaf stems. There’s a styrofoam ball inside the box to hold the arrangement.
The centers of the flowers have these new faceted gems (that are wonderful!) and the box is filled with shred. Cute! Hugs, Fran
